Overall Personality: Once upon a time, this man made a name for himself that he now never wants to remember. With a very arrogant attitude and spiteful bullying, he made a terrible name for himself among most the students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Believing himself better than anyone else at the school, he became someone that no one except for a few and his house wanted to hang out with. Being spoiled rotten didn't help matters either and he felt he deserved the best of the best. During his years at Hogwarts, he bought fame and friendships with his status as a wealthy and pureblood. Constantly, the young man was pulling cruel trick on many fellow students ranging from Muggle-borns, so-called blood traitors, Students of the Gryffindor House, and anyone who supported Harry Potter and Albus Dumbledore. Something he came to later regret was that he took after his hateful father, using him as a role model and constantly boosting about his families influence and wealth. Draco has always been very intelligent and quick-witted. With a father who expected him to make top marks in school, he was always pushing himself. He actually enjoyed learning things and studying to become a better wizard even though at the time it was so he could do terrible things. Not only was he very intelligence but he was also able to block off his emotions and become very successful with the skill known as Occlumency.

However, things don’t always stay the same, especially for Draco Malfoy… During his sixth year at Hogwarts, the Dark Lord, Voldemort made him a Death Eater and told him that he had to make us for his father’s failures. The young man of sixteen years old had to murder the wizard before the end of the year. At first, he was happy about such a task as he disliked Dumbledor, however, it began to put a stress upon him. After numerous attempts, the young man began to succumb to the stress and began to doubt his own ability to finish the task. During this year, his stress lead him to neglect things within’ life such as school and even relationships. As time went on and the task of killing the head master was upon him, he nearly took the head masters offer of safety, but was interrupted by the death eaters who entered the castle and watched in horror as Snape killed the head master. Realizing deep down that he actually respected the old man and began to hate being a death eater and not wanting to do anything unless it was bare minimum.

Ultimately, Draco was unable to kill Dumbledore, lowering his wand and tempted to take Dumbledore’s offer of protection for his parents. Also, during the Battle of Hogwarts, he showed genuine concern for Crabbe and Goyle, something he rarely did. After telling his friends that Harry potter had to be brought to the Dark Lord alive, he witnessed his friend Crabbe attempted to kill him with the Fiendfyre Spell. In horror, the young man watched as his friend lost control of the curse and was later rescued by Harry and his friends after Crabbe died… This resulted in a respect for Harry Potter and also resulted in Draco not wanting to be a death eater any longer… He began to question who he was… During the rest of the Wizarding War, Draco was not very interested in the Death Eater Lifestyle and reluctantly participated during death eater activities. It showed that even when he recognized Harry Potter at his home, he didn’t want to give the boy up as he felt something deep down that told him not to do it.

As he grew into a young adult, Draco searched or who he really was and it showed greatly that he regretted being a part of the Death Eaters and harming others during his school years at Hogwarts. The man now holds much more respect for everyone, including Muggle-Born witches and wizards and tries very hard to teach his son to be a better person then he was. During later years, he has even tried to patch up the old rivalries he has had with the Weasley and Potter Family, though he is unsure if they will truly forgive him for what he had done.

Overall History: Draco Lucious Malfoy was born to Lucious and Narcissa Malfoy on June 5, 1980 at the Malfoy Manor. The child was born to not only with magical parents but pureblood parents and wealthy from both sides of the family. Through his mother’s side of the family, he was the a descendant of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black and is the descendant of Phineas Nigellus Black. Being part of the Malfoy and Black family he knew of the tradition to join the Slytherin House from a very young age. Being of a magical family he was even taught about simple spells and broom flying, which showed during his first flying lesson at Hogwarts. From his mother and father, he learned about the social status and was taught that pureblood families are superior to any other witch and wizard and that his family was one of the highest. He was told the truth about his father’s support of the Dark Wizard Voldemort and how he was a great wizard. However, the lie was that his father had been control by the Imperius Curse and that Draco must agree to that as well when people asked about it, if they asked about it. His mother merely agreed with the idea of pure-blood supremacy and didn’t really push it like her husband and son did. Draco was spoiled as a child, given the best of everything when it came to material possessions and this caused him to believe that he deserved the best and no less. The only hand-me-down thing that Draco every received was the family believe that Pureblood were better than any other blood status and anyone who support the other blood status were below them. In all, he took on the racism like mindset that his parents wanted him to have. Draco was also lucky enough to be an only child and have his families complete attention…

Finally he came to the age where he would be able to receive his letter to Hogwart’s School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and sure enough it came by owl one more during Breakfast. It wasn’t a complete surprise, but the young wizard was beyond excited. However, discussion from his parents revealed that they had thought about sending him to Durmstrange, a school for mostly pureblood students that also taught the Dark Arts and who’s headmaster was a former Death Eater with Lucious. This never happened and Draco, along with his family, went to Diagon Alley to retrieve items needed for his first year in school. During his stop at Madam Malkin’s Robes for All Occasions, he unknowingly met Harry Potter and began a conversation with the young boy. His speech about muggle-borns and the half giant Rebeus Hagrid was not very nice, but he was very friendly towards Harry Potter. After being told by his father that he needed to make friends with Harry Potter as he could become a very strong Dark Wizard, Draco found Harry on the train and offered him friendship, but was declined due to Harry’s dislike for him. The rejection from Harry Potter caused the young Draco to become very hateful and mean and this lasted the rest of their schooling at Hogwarts.

Finally, Draco Malfoy was at Hogwarts and without even touching his head, the sorting hat sent him to the Slytherin House and he continued the tradition of being placed into the Slytherin house. Within’ moments, the young Slytherin began making friendships with other Slytherins and over time, had most of the Slytherin’s under his own hand due to his wealth and family reputation. However, he began to hate Harry more due to his fame and also his skill at flying and the idea of him being on the Quidditch team during their first year. Draco made it goal to get Harry into as much trouble as possible, but it also landed him into trouble as well for being out past curfew when he found Harry, Hermione, and Ron with Hagrid when a Dragon hatched. His detention that night was to help Hagrid find a wounded Unicorn which he found to be petty servants work. During his first year, he made sure to make as many friends as possible and get as many followers as possible, including women followers. Even during his first year, he found the young Pansy Parkinson very interesting. After his first year, he returned home to find a highly upset father whom had found out about his marks in school. Though they were high, he was lower than the muggle-born student, Hermione Granger and was forced to focus on studies and homework during most of his summer breaks.

At the end of the Summer, Draco returned to Diagon Alley with his father and mother. The young Wizard used his time to find the Half-Blood Potter and his blood traitor friends, the Weasley who were at the book store where the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teachers was doing a book signing. After poking fun at the other students he was interrupted by his father who remained as proper as ever in a cruel sort of way. On their way out of the store, his father merely told him to keep his head down during this school year and proceeded to purchase the Slytherin team new brooms in order to make sure Draco gain a spot on the team after the try outs. Though the young man was very skilled as a Quidditch Player, his father wanted him on the team and ensured his spot with the brooms. Draco was still out done by Harry Potter as that showed during their first game. After showing off these new brooms, he became very anger that Hermione pointed out the brooms were probably the only reason he was on the team and called Hermione a “mudblood”, an insult to muggle-born students. However, amusement came when Ronald Weasley attempted to hex Draco and the spell backfired on him due to a broken wand.

In order to get back at Harry for the match, Draco dueled Harry Potter, knowing he was very good as spells, however, this backlashed on him when he conjured a snake and Harry spoke to it in Snake language which is known as Parseltongue. This also lead many other to think Harry was the Heir of Slytherin, but Draco did not believe such rumors and only wished that he was the heir to Slytherin. Unknown to him, he actually told Harry and Ron about him not being the true heir and he didn’t know who it was. He told them that the chamber had been open before, fifty years ago and how he wished he could help the true heir. Unknown to Draco, his own father was the one who wanted the Chambers to be open and who had placed the Diary of Tom Riddle’s in the hands of a Student. However, his true target was Arthur Weasley, the student’s father, but Draco was not aware of any of this, but listened to his father’s own words to keep his head down. The young Slytherin again returned home to his father being highly upset at him for again being bested by Hermione Granger and was put to work studying again during most of his summer vacation.

Returning to Hogwarts for his third year, Draco found that guards of Azkaban to be extremely terrifying, however after finding out that Harry had had a bad reaction to the Dementors, mocked the reaction. Hinting to the crimes of the “murderer”, Draco spoke of how he would seek revenge is someone betrayed his own parents and gotten them killed. It was before a Quidditch match that Draco along with Crabbe, Goyle, and Flint, made a plan to undermine the performance of Harry by posing as Dementors. Unknown that Harry had been learning a spelling known as the Patronus Charm and had become very good at it, they went to the Ravenclaw game and began their plan. They were knocked back by the powerful charm and left the scene as quickly as possible. It was during the next couple of days that Draco decided to provoke a magical creature known as the Hippogriff. The beast name was known as Buckbeak and the animal was quick to fight back and injure the thirteen year old boy. It was not a serious injury, but Draco milked the attention, using it to get the attention of Pansy Parkinson the most. His father was soon at the school after hearing about what happened. After the court cast, Hermione assaulted him with physical contact and caused him to want revenge on her one day, but nothing that year. The night of the execution the slytherin boy smiled with pleasure, only to find out the next morning that the beast had escaped… He never found out how. Once again, he returned home to more school work since his marks were not as high as the muggleborn.

As the school year approached so did the 1994 Quidditch World Cup, which he was able to attend with his parents. Gloating about the fact he would be sitting with the Minister of Magic, his father hit him in the stomach telling him the gloating was not need and that they were not worthy of hearing their good fortune. While the death eaters attacked, he taunted his fellow classmates when the death eaters began terrorizing the campers and saying that the same would be done to Hermione that was being done to the Muggles. Deep down, he feared what would happen but he would never allow such a thing to show upon his own face or in his personality. After the terrible attack on the quidditch world cup, he went on to his school year only to find that the Triwizard Tournament would be taking place. Angry that they wouldn’t allow anyone under the age seventeen, he was happy that that meant no one else his year could continue. However, Harry still managed to become one of the champions and Draco had to pick who he would route for during the tournament. The young Slytherin chose Cedric Diggory only because he wasn’t Harry Potter. Constantly, he mocked the Gryffindor and spoke of how he wouldn’t make it a few minutes before he was out of the tournament. The Slytherin was also the informer to the writer Rita Skeeter, whom in turn wrote very slanderous, sensationalist articles on Harry Potter, Hagrid, and Hermione Granger. Before the dragons task, Draco tried to hex the Gryffindor champion, but was stopped by who people thought was Alastor Moody. He was turned into a ferret and bounced him around the area before stopped by Professor McGonagall. The rest of the year, he feared the Professor and constantly looked around to make sure he was not being followed by the teacher. After the first task, he asked Pansy Parkinson to the Yule Ball as his date and the two attended the ball together. This sparked their relationship fully and he constantly had her support for everything he did. After finding out about Voldemort’s return, he mocked Harry for his choice of sides and made fun of Cedric’s death but was hit with several curses from Harry and his friends.

With his father too concerned about the return of the Dark Lord, Draco was not put on his studies as hard like the many years prior. Though it was not enforced, he did work on some of his spells in hopes that Voldemort would put him on a mission soon. The young Draco wanted, at that time, to be at the Dark Lord’s side, but he was still young. Instead, he was made Slytherin Prefect along with his girlfriend Pansy Parkinson. Upon finding out that Harry Potter had not received the same honor and used that to his advantage. After finding out that Ronald Weasley was the new Gryffindor Keeper, he wrote a very demeaning song known as “Weasley is Our King”, which mocked the Fifth years abilities. Due to his constant insulting of the Harry and his friends, that cause Harry and George to get into a brawl with Draco that resulted in three Gryffindor players being banned from Quidditch… The ban was lifted after Dolores Umbridge got sacked from Hogwarts. Later on that year, he was given the “honor” of becoming a part of the Inquisitorial Squad and clearly enjoyed the power given to him over the other students. The whole time, he misused his power over the other students and enjoyed getting others in trouble, including Harry Potter. After catching Harry running out of the last meeting of Dumbledore’s Army, he landed the Slytherin House fifty Points. After bring Harry and many of his friends to Umbridge’s office after capturing them in an attempt to find Sirius Black, Draco await eagerly to see her perform one of the three unforgiveable curses on Harry. However, the attempt was stopped when the Muggleborn, Hermione Granger said that there was a weapon. He was left in charge of the others captured and after Umbridge left, was attacked by the remaining members of the Army and hit by Ginny Weasley’s Bat-Bogey Hex.

After finding out about the battle at the Ministry of Magic, he also found out about his father’s imprisonment. He blamed Harry Potter for this and attempted to attack him at the end of the school year with the help of his friends Crabbe and Goyle. However, the rest of the D.A. came to Harry’s aid and the three of them looked like Ugly Slug-like things after being hit with a number of Hexes. He returned home to a upset mother and also his Aunt and Voldemort.

During the Summer before his sixth year, he became part of the Dark Lord’s Followers, a death eater, and was also charged with making up for his father’s misfortunes… By killing the Headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledor. Things began to get tense and one day, his mother and aunt were gone for quite some time. Draco didn’t find out why until hours later and found out that his mother feared for him and had asked Snape to help him. After getting onto the Hogwart’s express he spoke about how he would become the right hand man to Voldemort, bragging about the mission. However, this bragging didn’t last very long as stress began to mount upon him. While on the train, Draco realized that Harry was listening and after everyone left used a Full Body-Bind curse to make it to where he couldn’t move and then stomped hard on his face, crushing his nose which was for revenge for his father. He even made sure to disregard anything that Harry had overheard, saying it was all unimportant.

As he continued his mission to try and kill Dumbledor, he had remember the year prior of a story that fellow Slytherin Graham Montague had told him about the vanishing cabinet. Having realizes that the cabinet was connected to the store back in Knockturn Alley, he began repairing the cabinet in order to get help from other death eaters to kill Dumbledor. Having spoken to Borgin, the owner of Borgin and Burkes, over the summer holiday, he managed to get the man to listen to him completely and agree to keeping everything a secret. Knowing that this mission would require a very strong wizard, Draco also improved other aspects of his magical skills, including learning Occlumency from his Aunt and becoming capable of blocking jinxes non-verbally. With all of his focus on his mission, he lost nearly all interest in Quidditch, having Harper take his place instead during the year. Due to the stress he neglected his own school work and received detention, as well as neglected his prefect duties which he normally abused. He also became very disrespectful towards Snape whom he once trusted fully and distancing himself from Crabbe and Goyle and not allowing them to know anything that he was doing.

During the course of the year he felt he was unable to repair the cabinet and resorted to desperate attempts to assassinate the headmaster, which caused two students to get hurt. Luckily, they both survived and Dumbledor did not have to apprehend Draco. However, the stress began to mount more upon Draco and soon he had to confess to someone and that someone was not Pansy Parkinson, but Moaning Myrtle, one of the schools ghost. While doing this one day, he found Harry had stumbled in on him and Draco tried to use the Cruciatus Curse on him, but Harry hit him first with a curse that sliced his skin open with his wand… Draco managed to survive the spell and also managed to repair the cabinet. After allowing the Death Eaters into the school, Draco went and found the Headmaster and cornered him in the tower. Within’ moments, Draco found that he was unable to kill the headmaster, who had offered him and his family protection, but watch in horror as Snape killed the Headmaster and was then lead to safety outside the castle area. Draco returned to his home and he knew he could no longer return to Hogwarts as he had helped Murder the headmaster and no one would want him there any longer. He took refuge with his family and with Voldemort in hopes to satisfy his orders to prevent any more negative highlights.

After his sixth year, Draco reluctantly participated in Death Eater activities before the next school year, but found little pleasure in anything going on. Draco witnessed the murder of Charity Burbage and the torture of Thorfinn Rowle on Voldemort’s orders. His family began losing much of their influence in the death eaters circles and it cause tension between some people. Even though he was a death eater and had duties, the young seventeen year old attend Hogwarts like normal since it was mandatory now, but returned on the Holidays to his home at the Malfoy Manor. During the Easter Holiday, Harry Potter came to his home along with Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger. Even though Draco knew that the boy brought to the Manor was Harry he could not find himself to tell anyone and said he wasn’t sure. After Harry and Ron were taken to the dungeon, Draco reluctantly stayed during Hermione’s torture but didn’t witness it as he felt sympathy for her. During this time, Draco watched as they all escaped and Harry took his wand… Soon after, Voldemort detained them to the Manor… But Draco returned to school like normal. As the end of the school year came, the battle of Hogwarts came and even though the rest of the Slytherins were ordered to leave the castle, Draco didn’t. With the help of Crabbe and Goyle they went in search of Harry Potter, but it failed when Crabbe wouldn’t listen to him… They managed to find Harry and the others in the Room of Requirements and Crabbe didn’t listen to Draco and used the Fiendfyre in order to kill Harry and his friends. He lost control and the room quickly filled with Fire… Draco went out of his way to save his friends and manged to save Goyle, but was unable to save Crabbe… This upset him but he gained a new respect for Harry has he had saved his life. Before the finish of the Battle, Draco’s family switched sides and then sat in the great hall uncertain of what to do during the Celebrations.

Seeing all the death of those who fought against Voldemort left a scar deep in Draco’s memory. He is haunted by not only the memory of what happened and what he did, but with the fact that his is branded for life. In turn, he tried to turn what was left of his life around, he studied as much as possible and began to put the past behind him. After a few years, he reconnect with someone from his house. Astoria Greengrass had grown up into a fine woman and he found himself attracted to her and also found himself falling in love, a love that he had not even known with Pansy Parkinson. The two got married and after a while they had a son… Draco was 27 years old at the time of his Son’s birth and was a very proud father. He vowed to teach his son better than his own father had taught him and tried to teach his son that blood purity was not everything and that everyone should be treated with respect. However, he had a terrible laps in judgement one day when he met Tracey Davis, the wife to Marcus Flint... A small affair began and ended quickly... He confessed to his wife of his lack o faithfulness and even told her he would understand if she divorced him... He left it at that and focused on his family and career again.
