Sebastien knew, perhaps better than most, about the issues that were there between Dominique and Victoire. Of course, having grown up around them, it was kind of a given. He had heard the things people would say, about how they wished Niqui was more like the older girl and there was always a part of him that got pissed off when that happened. He didn't get why people wanted her to be more like Victoire when there already was a Victoire. The world needed a Dominique. The world needed his Dominique and she was perfect just the way she was. He hated when people tried to change her, much like when people tried to change him. It was aggravating and if he had the ability to turn into a wolf at any point, he probably would have, if only to scare them into backing off. He didn't want to be bothered with how he should be acting or how people felt his best friend should be more like her sister. Seb hadn't always liked Victoire and thus, one of her was more than enough. Of course, much of his dislike from the older girl stemmed from the treatment that his best friend got for being the second born. "I'm not really surprised that it was awkward at first. A lot of things are. But I'm glad to hear that things are getting better with the two of you."
He had always hoped that there would come a day when the girls would be close and it seemed like that day was fast approaching. Of course, as they all grew older, they matured more and that gave more room for them to repair damaged relationships. He tilted his head when Dommie said that she probably wasn't going to enter her name into the Goblet of Fire. If he was being perfectly honest, he liked it better that way. It meant that she was safer and less at risk to die. If anything happened to her, Sebastien had a feeling that he would spiral downwards again, but this time, she wouldn't be there to pull him back above the surface. There was a very real chance that he would have been lost forever. He laughed when she said he was fierce and shook his head. "That's if I put my name in. And if I get selected. I wonder if the Goblet knows if werewolves enter, or if we're all just seen as equal magic folk." He had never really given much thought to that before.
The question about Noelle going to Hogwarts had Seb tensing somewhat. "I don't want her anywhere near the Tournament. I get that she's growing up, but if I can just keep her safe a while longer..." He trailed off, eyes focusing on a blank spot of the wall across the room. Sebastien knew that he couldn't keep his sister safe forever, but that didn't mean that he wasn't going to try. When she wrapped her arms around him, he smiled a bit and came back to himself. "I'm rather surprised he asked you, though with the Veela thing, I suppose I should not be. How did all of that end?" Geoff was a friend that things had grown strained with ever since Sebastien's attack, but that didn't mean that he didn't want to maintain some kind of relationship with the male.
Niqui brought up Italy and Seb smiled again. "Well, I'm not certain about life changing, but I met a few werewolves who went through some...similar situations. They lost family members in their attacks as well. It was," he paused, trying to think of the right words to say. "It was comforting."
