The school year at Hogwarts had quickly came to a close for the summer and Klara was back home with her mother. It had been a unusual year for the young girl at the new school. She had discovered love for the first time but wasn't able to tell the boy of her feelings, she was too scared to confess and he soon disappeared before she got her brother's blessings. She was crushed but found comfort in her friends and family. Now she was back to her normal cheerful self and ready to start off her summer.
It took her a full day to unpack and get adjusted to life back home. She didn't have to rush every morning to get to class or do homework. It was a welcomed changed. That morning she slept in till noon until her mother came in and pulled at her toes while threatening to cut them off and feed them to the dogs if she didn‘t get out of bed. Being rather fond of her toes, she processed to climb out of her covers. She sat on the edge of her warm bed for a long moment while rubbing the sleep from her eyes. She could hear laughter outside of her door and knew that her brother and Anna were with her mother in the kitchen.
Shortly after pulling herself away from her bed, she hopped in the shower and soon got ready for the day. She pulled on pair of pretty jeans and a top before slipping into her flats. She sat at her vanity table and began to brush out her damp hair, letting it air dry while putting on her make up. When she was finished she was in the kitchen with her family and had a filling lunch while they talked and laughed together. It was nice having Anna there visiting but it will be sad when she and her brother leave in a few weeks.
Once lunch was over she helped her mother with the dished while overhearing her brother speak of the Viking festive in town. She didn’t have anything else planned for the day so why not. Its been a while since she went to something fun. She kissed her mother on the cheek and told her that she was off to the festive. She grabbed her bag from her room and took off out the door, deciding on taking the bus to get there.
Twenty minutes later the bus unloaded at the gate and Klara was in line to buy her ticket. She ruffled through her bag and pulled out her wallet, giving the man the money before he wrapped a paper bracelet around her tiny wrist. As she walked up to the venue, the place was buzzing with crowds of people. Music filled the air and people laughing and having a good time. She took a minute to take it all in and felt a smile creeping upon her lips. Suddenly she felt someone bump into her back and she peered over her shoulder to see what had fallen into her.
