Overall Personality: Leon is a strict, but compassionate man. He enjoys teaching children, but he just hates the grading that comes with it. However, he knows that since he took the job he has to do every bit so he does it without complaining TOO much. Seeing the students glow with the knowledge he gives them makes him very happy.

However, because of this, Leon rarely gets to spend some time with his girlfriend. He loves his girlfriend, but sometimes Leon finds himself staying awake for several hours at night trying to grade homework and tests. Leon feels that he is betraying her by doing this, but he also loves her because she is sticking with him.

Some of Leon's weaknesses lie in classes or flying, he's actually terrified of flying, except in planes, weird. However, his girlfriend could be considered a weakness because Leon would do anything for her and hates to see her so depressed or scared. For Leon this is a huge setback and he will do anything for her.

Animals. He loves them, period. He and his girlfriend own some land in the country and they have twelve horses, four dogs, two cats, a tank of fish, a couple of rabbits, and a parrot. Between the two they share an owl in order to send messages to each other. They prefer the old fashioned way to help keep the pollution down. While Leon loves them he knows they are hard work and helps when he can.

Leon's least favorite classes are Flying Lessons, Potions, and Defense Against the Dark Arts. He had never been very good at them, but he does have a soft spot for Transfiguration and Charms as well as his own class. Leon had loved Astronomy for as long as he could remember and it poured over into his school life.

Overall History: Leon was the fourth child to James and Jennifer Palmer. He got his middle name from a movie called Howl's Moving Castle. His older siblings are Penelope, Daniel, and Samuel, the last being his twin brother. At an early age Leon had shown a huge amount of interest in the stars and was always looking at them before he went to bed at night. As he grew, Leon's magic caused problems, normal amongst wizarding families.

When he was eleven, Leon and his twin brother, Samuel, went to school at Salem. Both were placed in Nauset House. Once in school, Leon focused entirely on his education while his brother moved on towards wooing the women. Leon always tried to talk his brother into focusing better on his lessons, but Samuel wouldn't listen.

As the years passed by, Leon found himself getting older, attractive, and VERY active (sexually). When he was fifteen he met a girl he liked and they started dating, however, it turned out she was nothing but a whiny user and Leon dumped her. However, she started stalking him until Leon was able to get her arrested for it. The boy graduated two years later and became an assistant to the Astronomy Professor.

For five years Leon learned what it was like to be a teacher. Finally, the woman retired and Leon was given the position. Leon felt nervous at first, but as time wore one, he grew used to his new status. Not long after he met his current girlfriend. They moved in together and got their own place out in the country near the school, so Leon could go home to her when his work was done. Leon has been with his girlfriend for nineteen years and is ready to pop the question to her. Leon hopes she will say yes, he is nervous about the whole marriage concept.
