Overall History: Her father is Cajun, born and raised, he is the descendant of Acadian exiles. Her mother is Roma, formerly considered Gypsy from Romania. The two met in New Orleans where they were both living. Pierre his whole life, and Esmeralda a tourist at the time. They had a whirlwind romance that resulted in the pregnancy of their first son. The two got married after a year of dating and had their first son four months later. The couple moved into a small apartment in the French Quarter, Pierre ran a Cajun food restaurant and Esmeralda opened a tourist attraction selling spells and love potions. While she does offer legitimate spells in the back, muggles will never know about that.

Five years after their son was born, came Madeline's older sister Charlotte. Two years after that is when Madeline and her twin came along. The twins were born three minutes apart and her sister was the one that was born first. At around thirteen is when she started going out and partying with her friends. Yeah, she has some crazy stories from her past. As the years passed, the partying just got worse. Sometimes she would stay out all night and it and while nothing too terrible has happened, YET, it has gotten to the point where her parents and siblings don't know if she'll come home that night or not.
