Overall Personality:
Nikita sticks mostly to herself at school. When she’s not around her close friends, she really has nothing to say. Instead, she’s planning her next restoration project in top secret.

Cars are Nike’s passion; it’s a hobby she picked up from her father, and she loves spending time with him in the garage fixing up some old rust bucket. She’s very close to her father, even though he’s away on business all of the time. Despite him not being there, Nike continues to work on cars by herself, and has somewhat made herself a business out of it. Her uncanny ability to turn around an old rust bucket and fix it up to a beautiful hot rod is remarkable for someone her age. Then again, it’s all she ever does. She usually turns the car around and sells it, and that money goes towards funding a new project.

Nike is very good with her hands, she can fix about anything that moves. Her only problem is that she’s a bit headstrong and she abhors listening to or reading directions. Nikita wants to figure it out all on her own, no matter how long that path will take.

Born October 21st, 2007 was Nikita Felix Chiolis, in Zakros, Greece. Most of Nikita’s formative years were spent on the small Island of Crete in Greece. The Chiolis’ were very family oriented and often travelled back to the mainland to spend time with their respective families. Growing up, Lexa, Nikita’s cousin, was one of her best friends.

Five years after the birth of Nikita came along little Calliope Chiolis. Nikita adored her baby sister, regardless of how annoying she could be at times. As Callie grew older and began to speak, she found that the harsh sound of ‘Nikita’ was too hard to say, which resulted in Callie calling her sister ‘Nike’ instead. The name stuck after that.

The Chiolis clan had been one of magic for as long as anyone could remember. They were a pretty prominent magical family in Greece, as well as a few others. From a young age Nikita understood there was magic in the world, and she would grow up to be a part of that. At age eleven, she received her expected letter of acceptance to Durmstrang Institute of Magic. Life was good at Durmstrang, although they had stuffy uniforms and most of the professors were crabby and mean, Nike was accepted. She liked the place, and she had friends. Life was good.

Until her father’s promotion launched her to the other side of the world.

At age thirteen Nikita and her family had to uproot from their beautiful Grecian island and move to Tampa, Florida, of the United States. Her father, an ambassador for Greece, was offered a position at the embassy in Florida. One of those “this is a once in a lifetime opportunity” things. Nike didn’t care. She was just severely angered she had to leave the place she called home.

Once in Tampa, Nikita realized it wasn't all that bad. Not that she’d ever let her parents know. They had a beautiful house, a walking distance from the beach, much like their home back in Zakros. Here, Nikita learned how to surf and sail, and as an “I’m sorry” type of present, her father bought her the body of a 1958 Corvette. It would be their first restoration project together.

Nike grew to love the grease and hard work and love that was put into building a car from the ground up. She confided her feelings with her dad, and he was happy to fuel the fire of her passion. Soon, Nikita would be a natural car restoration expert, having as many as eight projects going at once. None surpassed the love of her first car, though. Nike kept her restored 1958 Corvette, and named him Dean.

For her fourth year, Nike transferred to the local wizarding school in Salem. She found that it was much more laid back than Durmstrang, which took a little while to get used to. Soon she grew to love the school, and the people within it.

Though Nike still dearly misses her homeland, she has grown to be rather fond of this ‘Tampa, Florida’ area. It’s her sixth year of wizarding school; there’s only one more year of shenanigans and spells left, and Nike’s sure she’s going to make it count.
