Clover couldn’t believe it. It had happened. He was here. He was crying. HE! She smiled and took her baby, throughly exhausted and yet an incredible sensation washed over her. Despite being tired she couldn’t have been more awake. She looked at her baby, crying in her arms as he wiggled and scrunched his face up. She smiled feeling nothing but happiness as she looked at the beautiful, slimy little life she had created and carried with her for over nine months, but he needed a name and the only one that came to mind was Bruce Wayne. She was not naming her child after batman.
“Thank you, Professor.” She said, looking up to find that her Professor couldn’t respond. He said Professor Satagori’s name and then passed out and all though a crowd had been watching, they hadn’t been willing to do much. “Don’t just stand there, get me a bloody blanket out of my bag.” She ordered one of the blokes, standing near by. “You. Go get Professor Harrow Satagori from Salem and be quick.” Clover looked down to her baby who was no longer crying but instead watching her with very wide black eyes. She looked back to the men that seemed uninterested in helping and she started to lose her temper. “I’m sorry. Did I stutter? Get a bloody move on or so help me it will be the end of your days.” The men got to it, one rushing off, taking his beer with him, while another fumbled around, getting to her bag and finding a blanket.
Clover looked down to her little boy, excited to now be a mom. She could feel the endorphins washing over her and was surprised when a blanket was placed over the baby and herself and then another. She had millions of little blankies in her hospital bag and was pleased to have more than one on her baby.
Shuffling across the floor just a little Clover found a spot she could lean back against. She rested and stroked the face of her baby boy. All too soon the healers came in and started their routine of checking her over. The cord was no longer pulsating and was clamped and cut. There was a lot of checking but they were soon on their way out of the pub. Apparently another medical team was on the way for the passed out man and Clover hoped that Harrow was on his way for Felix but Clover was certain of one thing as she was pushed out on a wheelchair, holding her baby to her chest, keeping him warm with blankets. Her baby’s middle name would definitely be in honour of her ancient runes Professor. Felix.
