Felix wrapped his arms around Harrow pulling the other in close. They were both breath in unison with labored breaths and swore that their hearts were even beating in time. It was their own little bubble of bliss. The one he always was in after time like this. There was no fear now. At one time he would cling desperately to this moment the it would slip through his fingers leave him clawing for the warmth. Not now, He was soaking it all up. It filled his heart and he knew he would never have to worry again about loosing Harrow.

Felix hummed happily as his loves fingers ran over his chest. Everything was perfect. Harrow spoke and Felix opened his eyes at the question. He was speechless just looking down at this man who was already his world.

They had thrown caution to the wind when they got back together with rushing to move in with one another. Sure it had taken a couple of months to get settled but they were happy and home in each other’s arms every night. He wasn’t expecting that question that fast. Sure it had been on his mind. They had spoken to one another about it. He had practical already said yes when they were just playing with the idea. Felix knew though that they already had their whole plan: marriage, kids, everything. It still didn’t leave him any less surprised by the question.

It felt like his heart burst with all the love he had for the other man as Harrow repeated the question in English. A grin spread across Felix’s face as he looked down at the face of the man he would love for the rest of his life. It had been such a trial to let himself admit and give into the love that Harrow wanted to give if he walked away from it he was sure that no one else would ever come along. Not to mention the biggest moron in the history of the world.

“Naturligtvis,” He whispered “Yes Harrow.” He cupped the other man’s face and peppered it kisses all over. He could never get enough of the red head. Once he managed to calm himself down he looked at Harrow taking in the gorgeous blue eyes that he was lucky enough to be greeted with every morning. “Kom ... jag har något.” Felix maneuvered carefully so that he could get out of the tub. He grabbed one towel for himself and then one for Harrow, holding it out for his love.

Once Harrow was out and wrapped up in the fluffy towel Felix grabbed his hand and lead him down the hall to the bed room where the puppy’s were all cuddled together and still sleeping. Felix let go and went to the smaller bookshelf he managed to talk Harrow into letting him put in the bedroom. Almost every room he had managed to get some form of book storage into even if he did have a whole room dedicated to his literature now. On the top was a small decorative box. It was something he had gotten as a gift from his mother. Inside had letters mostly but underneath all the letters there was a little leather ouch. That was what he was looking for. Felix snatched it up and walked back to Harrow, stepping over the dogs again. “Hold out your hand.” Felix instructed. He reached into the pouched pulled out two rings. “They were my grandparents,” He slid one ring onto Harrows finger. “My mom hoped that I could use them one day.”

It was sure an eventful day, first being a midwife for a student and now he was engaged. That was one way to get him not to dwell on the prior. The band was there on his finger, ones that he had kept in the box for a long time. When his mother had given him the rings he never thought that he would actually be wearing one let alone have the other be on the hand of someone he loved so completely.

He looked down at his hand and then over to Harrow’s. “I love you too Harrow, för evigt och alltid.” Felix walked up to Harrow and wrapped his arms around him swallowing him up in the hug. This man, this perfect adorable sexy amazing man was now soon to be his husband. It was actually going to happen they had rings to prove it.

“You are my Fiancé now,” Felix mumbled against Harrow’s still damp hair. He sounded giddy. He was. It was all so crazy and hard to believe. He moved back so he could look down at his fiancé. “We are crazy.” He laughed. It was true they were crazy, for giving their love a second chance, for giving up on it in the first place and for just completely giving into it. Felix would have it no other way. He truly did want to spend the rest of his life with Harrow.

Felix sat on the edge of the bed and pulled Harrow over and sat him on his lap. Felix draped his arms around the other man and looked lovingly at him. There would be so much to do and plan but he didn’t care. A date needed to be set first. He wondered if Harrow wanted to just rush into the actual marriage too. If their history said anything it would be a yes. “So Hedlund-Satagori. Or Satagori-Hedlund?”

Felix watched Harrow noticing how he studied the Runes on it. The bands were simple, each hand etched with the same love spell on them. “ Miannaz isa nithiz ansuz sowulo teilwaz eihwaz isa laguz isa fehu teilwaz, or Min ast eilift.” Felix translated. “My love forever.” Each rune that was part of the phrase was supposed to bring something fruitful to the betrothed. Hope, success, happiness, all of it. Runes like this worked on a hope, if there was no work on the couples part then it wouldn’t work. Runes were tricky that way on their own they were more powerful, strung together they were like a wish upon a star.

The way Felix was with Harrow, it was a no brainer that he would just latch onto that for life. Harrow brought out the best in him. From the moment he met the other man it was that way. Never before had Felix been nervous what someone thought about him, but with the Care for Magical Creatures professor he did. Never did he want to impress someone so much. Felix learned how to be relatable and let someone in so he can give his all to a relationship.

Felix giggled and hummed as the kisses were planted along his neck. “Then Hedlund –Satagori it will be.” One decision down a million more to go but Felix couldn’t be more excited to go from days filled with grading papers to days filled with wedding planning. Maybe he could talk his sister into staying around Hawthorne village to help with everything.

Of course it was a perfect plan. “Elsa is in Austria right now last I heard…I might have to be sneaky and get her home somehow.” He didn’t want to tell her with an Owl, but Felix knew his sister and she was worse when it came to being told were to be and what to do than Felix was.

Felix arched a brown and looked down at this love. He understood Harrow’s concern. His smile never faded. “They will be. I’m sure they are just floored that someone was out of their mind enough to deal with me this long.” His father was a serious man but he wanted nothing but happiness for his children. His mother was a little loud but she always had good intentions. Felix was more worried about meeting Harrow’s father. It was one thing to share through a letter it was something entirely different to have to live up to whatever Harrow had said or written.

Felix was overjoyed that Harrow liked the rings. Runes were things that had always spoke to Felix. Obviously it was also something that was a big part of his family. Everyday his love would do something that made Felix love him more and more. Their love never stopped growing and it never will.

They were crashing into the next chapter of their life. A family of their own would be next to fallow, because Felix knew how badly Harrow wanted that. Of course at first he was nervous to even consider children. With Harrow by his side Felix would be ready for it all because he had someone to help him along the way. When it got hard they would have each other, their home , a life together.

Felix let out a small laugh and tightened his hug around Felix. “But I want it to be a surprise, so I need another reason to get her there.” Of course all of his family knew that Felix was back with Harrow. Elsa knew a lot more about everything than his parents. That means that Felix could see a little sass coming Harrow’s way because that was how Elsa was. She was outspoken. He knew that she would love Harrow though, because Felix loved the man he was going to marry more than life itself.

“I’m glad they didn’t” More kisses were planted on Harrow’s cheek. “I am excited to meet him too.” As mad as it seemed that everyone was around them when they did break up before Felix wasn’t anymore. He had forgiven Harrow. He had to for them to be together now. As their second chance blossomed Felix understood that they needed that time. Or he needed that time to truly understand that he had to bend and break and open up so that he could accept all the love that Harrow had to give him.

Felix was a headstrong man. It was often times a problem. Naturally it was only hit him when Harrow left him. So he sulked for most of the time. It was actually Elsa who made him wake up. She made him see what the problem was and that it was dumb that it was even a problem to begin with.

There were so many adventures to be hand. When Felix was younger an adventure would mean moving across the globe. He traveled to learn and see whatever he could. Of course he knew eventually would have to settle down. When he finally did Felix would be restless for the school breaks to come so he could go and meet up with his sister in whatever amazing new country she was in.

Now an adventure was living life with Harrow. Felix didn’t care where they went. They could stay in this little house for the rest of their lives and he would be perfectly happy. Well a little vacation here and there wouldn’t hurt. Felix was excited to take his Harrow places that he had been a couple of years ago, and explore the new ones hand in hand with the love of his life. When they had a child they could return and watch as their little one would look out in wonder in all the sights and sounds. He wanted to be the best husband he could be for this man. If that meant helping take care of a farm of animals he would do it. Anything his love wanted.

Felix was beaming when Harrow said fiancé. He happily hummed as Harrow nuzzled against him. “Yeah, once I get time to focus a little on it.” He chuckled. It was always hard to focus on anything but the red head whenever he was around, especially when their bodies were pressed up against each other. The fingers running through his hair didn’t help much either. That was fine, he had time. Now he just wanted to revel in this moment with his fiancé.

“Oh I will get stories?” Felix said curious, and excited at the idea of tales of a young Harrow. “I want to hear all of them, true or false.” He kissed the top of the other man’s head with another little laugh. “I’m sure you will get a couple of gems from my childhood too, so it will even out.” His mother had a handful of stories. As much of a homebody was as a kid he still had his own embarrassing stories from childhood.

Felix took some time to look over his lover’s body after the towel was dropped. This day seemed like it had dragged on for ever, in the best way possible. “If that is what you would like to do fästman”. There was still a little bit that they would have to get settled at home, as much as he wanted right now to just take Harrow to see his parents and shout the happy news to the world. Their house was still partly in boxes, there was still end of the year grading to do and a couple of lesson plans. Not to mention arranging plans for the animals to stay with someone. It might help to send a letter his parents way to at least warn them when he was coming by so that they would be home.
