What Felix needed was someone who had the patients to work with him. He was suborn and oblivious. The fact that his mind had stuck so completely on the subject of Harrow was a miracle and couldn’t possibly be an accident. For once his attentions were on a person and Felix couldn’t ignore that.
“I was thinking the same thing.” All across Scandinavia they could trounce. In the summer when the bitter winds gave way to warm ones and the flowers scattered across the hills. There was also the countless summer festivals. Felix might have preferred the autumn but he would gladly spend every day outside exploring with Harrow. That was if this trip actually did come to life. Felix wasn’t one to hold on too tightly to plans, because often time he was the one who broke them by being too scatterbrained to remember that he had made them. Not that he would do such a thing with something so big like a trip back to Europe. This ..he just had to try and not get his hopes up in this situation. A learn to walk before you run sort of situation.
Felix knew that his actions were not speaking to how he actually felt. He hated it. Then again it had never been an issue until not. Not when he had made the first girl who had tried to kiss him cry. Not when he ran out of the room of his first intimate partner. Only now in an innocent touch did he feel like he was entirely wrong for not wanting to touch people. Felix wasn’t lucking to magically cure himself, he simply wanted comfort in Harrow’s touch, only Harrow’s touch.
The way the other bit his lip made Felix realize he was dumb to think that he could get away with being fidgety and not bring up some questions. Still he couldn’t help but feel the flutter of butterflies in his stomach again. All these feelings were making him dizzy. With each new expression the other man made he felt himself Falling ever harder.
“I’m sure you are not giving yourself enough credit. Where do you think it is?” Carefully his grin grew. Even if Harrow got it wrong he would have thought the guess was adorable and then would simply correct the other, much like Harrow had done for Felix. Maybe without the hand touching. OR perhaps he would try in an attempt to abolish his pesky discomforts.
Felix couldn’t help but grin and glance away completely flattered by what the other said. Complements were not things he was used to getting. Even when he did receive them before he had never cared. Or he just thought they were full of it. “Precisely.”
“So Harrow do you want to tell me about yourself? “ He knew little things about this man. What he taught, where he was from, he went to Salem, that he was the most adorable height in the world. That wasn’t enough Felix wanted to know it all and all at once.
