Lily could never really explain what had gone through her head when she went on her bender. When she poured all of that liquor down her throat and threw up all over Alya. She still wasn't sure how to face her brother's ex-girlfriend after all of that. She knew that Alya told everyone what happened to her when she was in the hospital and that she wrote something aggressive to Scorpius. Things were getting better and she just hoped that she would be able to get past the look on Scorpius's face when he first saw her in the hospital bed and walked away from her.
They would have to figure it out, especially if him being in Aridorn proved to be too much for her to handle, or too stressful for her sobriety.
"Better than I can, so you should be good." Whenever she was with her blond, they were like magnets. When he would crawl through her bedroom window, when he would show up in her dorm room and just wrap her into his strong arms. They were going to make things work, she knew deep down in her gut that they were going to have to.
Lily laughed with her cousin, hoping that her story of meeting the Malfoys for the first time would help him relax a little bit. The Longbottoms didn't have a long standing hatred towards the Weasleys. Neville never kicked Ron in the face. In all honesty, most of the Weasleys just assumed that one way or another the Longbottoms would be part of their family line at some point.
"I think that Astoria is amused at the thought of my future as a lady who lunches with all of my sass and attitude."
She nodded when he insisted that Scorpius would love her no matter what.
"Thanks, Hugo." She knew that she was just being silly over all of it, but she couldn't help herself. She wanted to believe that Scorpius would grab her hips, that he would kiss her like there was no tomorrow and promise to never let her out of his sight again. Even if he had to go to Aridorn, she still expected him to keep his promise of visiting whenever he could.
Letters, floo calls, anything that they could do in order to have a normal relationship over different hemispheres, she would do whatever it took.
