Overall History: A bit of Background on James David Richardson Jr. family, that way you understand his life that he leads. Lindsey Renea Brechin was born December 11, 1991 in Birmingham, Alabama at the St. Clair’s Magical Hospital which is located near the muggle hospital, St. Vincent’s Hospital. Unknown to Muggles, the original Clair and Vincent were husband and wife. Vincent was a muggle man and Clair was a pureblood Witch and they fell in love. They wanted to help people, so they got married and Clair, with the help of Magic, made St. Clair behind the Hospital. To Muggles, it looks like the office building of the hospital and no muggle is allowed to go in there. Now, James was born at St. Vincent Hospital on August 30, 1991 before Lindsey was born and then they grew up in the same town on the same Road.

Now, Lindsey grew up in a much different lifestyle. Both of her parents, Kent and Leslie, loved Magical and Non-Magical animals, so they own a farm. In the front of the farm, where muggles could see and they could conduct business with muggles, normal horses of different breeds were available to see, ride, buy and trade. Behind the homes, back in the land belonging to Leslie and Kent’s family, were Unicorns and Pegasus, which they had tamed over many years in the family. These animals were sold to magical family(the Pegasus) and the Unicorns were used for their mane and tail to give to wand making people.

James’ family was much different, as they didn’t own a farm, but merely lived down the street. His mother worked for a church for the child care facility of the church and ran the program called Mom’s Day Out. His father was an engineer and made good money. When James was a boy, him and Lindsey ran across each other and became great friends, always hanging out though it was without their parents knowledge until they were both a bit older. They two were best friends and did everything together. James went to the Muggle School, Shelby County High School while Lindsey was home schooled until she started Salem. When she started Salem, James learned to write her and with the permission from her family, gave his letters to them every week so they could send the letters to her. Lindsey and James were sixteen when they started to date, but it was much more than that… Lindsey became pregnant during her spring break from Salem and managed to hide it until she was back home in Alabama. She told her parents that it was someone from school but he wanted nothing to do with it and said that she wanted James to be the God-Father. Though her parents were unsure about this, they agreed and she had the child on December 7, 2007 at St. Clair Hospital. Since James was the God-Father, he was allowed into the magical building and she also gained permission to tell him about the magical world. She placed him as the father on the birth certificate, but still didn’t tell her parents he was the real father, not wanting to get him in trouble with them. During her pregnancy, her parents managed to convince the school to allow her to be taught at home until she was healthy to travel. She returned to school a month after the child was born and James cared for the child with the help of her parents and his own. Being the God-Father and on paper, the father of the child, he had to make sure the child was taken care of.

With the help of her parents, he purchased a large piece of land across the street from their land. He started to help them with the Muggle side of their business and also obtained an owl from her father. He began a good relationship with them. He finished his junior year of high school when she returned from her sixth year of Salem. That summer they discussed everything about their future. How he was the father of the child and what he planned on doing with his life. Young James was just over six months old when his mother came home from school and during that summer, James told Lindsey that he wanted to enlist in the army. ”It will be a stable income and I will be able to support you and show you the world.” The idea worried her and she thought about. ”After we finish school.” Lucky for them, that was the next school year.

Lindsey returned to Salem for her final year and returned right before her son’s first birthday and Christmas. Being able to see her son during that time and be there for her now fiancé. She returned for her final months of Salem and he finished his Senior year. When they were reunited, they sat down his family and her own and told them the truth. Everyone was actually not surprised as the young James looked a lot like his father. They were upset that they hid the truth but they understood of the fear. James enlisted in the army once they were married and went to basic training and advance individual training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. After he was done, which was around Young James’ birthday, he told his wife and her family he had been told he would be stationed at Wheeler Army Airfield in Wahiawa, Hawaii. Lindsey was beyond excited about everything, but her family was a bit fearful of it as they had never seen the muggle life and they knew that Lindsey was going to have to learn. After they moved to Hawaii, Lindsey and her parents set up a portal in the laundry room closest in order to allow Lindsey to return home with Young James so she could visit family. They did this every time they moved…

Young James grew up a muggle and wizard lifestyle, learning about everything from his family and the experiences he had. At three years old, in 2010, James was blessed with a little brother, David Bryce Richardson. Nearly a year after that, in 2011 he was given a little sister and they moved to Fort Polk, Louisiana for their next four years of their life. James was four years old during their move to Louisiana and he spend four years there before his father, James was able to become a Helicopter pilot and went to Fort Rucker, Alabama in South Alabama. James and his family grew up in a great life style and at the age of 11, after his father was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky he received a letter from Salem and was beyond excited to be going to Salem.

His brother and sister were eight and seven years old at the time of him gaining his letter and went to Hawthorne Village to gain all of his supplies. He gained his first item a Fourteen Inch Oak Wand with Unicorn Hair Core. Not only was it special to him because it was his first wand but because his father and mother helped him gain the oak limb from his family home in Columbiana and the unicorn hair from the unicorn he claimed to be his own and whom he loved very much. After the wand was made(which had been months prior to James coming to Hawthorne Village) he went to gain his books and his pet, which was a rather large cat known as a Savannah Cat. This was the size of a small dog and was very loyal. He named the cat Natasha and they were never apart once she became his cat. During his first year, he became very interested in the sports available, however he still loved muggle sports and that including hunting with his father and siblings.

Nothing interesting ever happened to him, but he gained his group of friends. He was placed in Nauset house like his mother had been placed and he loved it. He gained his circle of friends and his loyalty went to certain people. He was always quiet but he had his time of fun and he seemed to have a few problems with those who were pureblood elitist since his father is a muggle. Now he is sixteen, his brother thirteen and his sister twelve and they are all in Salem, all with their own thoughts and ideas.


James had the chance to go to Hogwarts for the Tri-Wizard Tournament and there he started to date Charlotte DuBois, a dear friend of his from his Quidditch team. They had always cared for each other, but they never thought about dating until they were at Hogwarts. They returned to Salem and Charley finished out her school before she went to Aridorn. However, the happy couple were soon hit by a mighty blow, Charley was pregnant and she had really had only one idea of who's it might be, even if she had no true proof... Callum Grey, a bartender that worked near her school, whom had shown great -creepy- interest in her. James was furious, but Charley asked him not to go and start anything. James agreed, though it was tough. Not long after that, the two were married and began living in an apartment not far from Salem. James recently decided to join the US Army so he can take care of his family.

James became the proud father of his son, Luka David Richardson the day he graduated from Salem School. The young man was beyond happy, though there was some tension between James and some of Charley's own family. The man soon was off to basic, but unknown to him, his beautiful wife was pregnant with another child, though he didn't find out until he graduated. The man was extremely happy, though he was sure that some of her family was not happy at all.
