He had never seen Sabine so defeated. Even after he had left her in the hotel rooms. It was like admitting what had happened drained the life from her and it truly hurt Kasper to see her that way. He was going to find that man and beat him within an inch of his life. Killing that man would be too good Kasper needed the guy to feel scared and broken for the rest of his life, like Sabine was feeling now.
“You shouldn’t have…waited so long to tell me.” As hard as he was sure it was for her. Sabine had only been torturing herself keeping the secrets. He had picked up where they had left off because that was what Kasper had known. “Then we wouldn’t be here and you wouldn’t be trying to…” Kasper grimaced. Did Jasper know too? Even before him? Kasper would not get mad at Sabine for this. His hands were clenched fighting off his anger.
As she admitted it all to him he just wrapped her up in the hug, holding her close. Kasper wanted to win Sabine back. He wanted to be what she needed because he didn’t need or want anyone else. It could have been because as much as he denied it she did get away from him. Now it was more because she had truly tried to move on and he needed her to know that she didn’t need anyone else. Sabine was his and she always would be.
Jasper had known and he had never taken Jasper as the one to be so cold. It left a bad taste in his mouth. Maybe he should be grateful that Jasper had reacted so poorly. Surely that was Sabine’s plan, how she would win him back. Now it would be Kasper’s way to completely break those two. “I want to rip that man apart, but you are more important now,” He whispered into her hair. “Jasper was a fool to treat you such a way as well.” He wanted to punch his brother straight in the face, tell him he was an insensitive jack ass. Again that was something that could be dealt with later.
“You don’t need to think about any of that again Sabine, I will take care of you.” He swayed gently holding her there in his arms and placing another gentle kiss on her forehead.
