The young Devi looked at the ring on her finger as she read her book while she tried, attempted to do her studies. Yea, her mind had been wondering all day, sometimes on Mark, sometimes on things that she wondered if could change. She loved Mark, but she felt sometimes she was missing out on some things, that maybe this was a slightly bad choice and that she needed more time to live before she got involved with someone like this. Her parents had the same thoughts, but they were happy none the less. They believed it was her choice, so they didn't try and change her mind, but they did give their wisdom and advice. The tree behind her was pretty tough on her back, but she needed the fresh air and she didn't want to sit up on a bench that was harder and less comfortable. At least the tree had some curve too. Mark was still at Hogwarts, he was still in school and she had seen a lot of people get in committed relationships...

They were planning to hold their engagement out for a while, finish their education and get a career before they got married. They even figured they could get a home together first and try living together before they got married. They wanted to make sure it would work and if not, they could break it off without the problems of divorce rates going up. Devi didn't want that, she loved Mark, but she knew her mind was too wondering to not think of some of the bad with the good. Letting out a sigh, she stared at her ring, a smile appearing slightly as she turned it around her finger slowly.
