Overall Personality: Once upon a time, Stella was a sweet, albeit timid young girl. But after her turning, Stella grew bitter to the world and her personality became that of a very cynical one. She is no longer the fearful little girl without any self-confidence. Stella is fearless, ruthless, and very, very angry. She dislikes socialization and small talk, and will tell you anything like it is. She doesn’t care about hurting people’s feelings, and is very cold to people she doesn’t know.

Overall History:
Stella was born in 1894 to loving parents, Eugene and Maude Rosenthal. They lived in a small country home in Fife, Scotland where Stella grew up. At age eleven she was sent to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where she was thus sorted into the Ravenclaw house. Stella was an intelligent, eager to learn girl, with enough wit in her to slay an elephant, which made up for her severe lack of self-confidence.
In the beginning of Stella’s seventh year, she was conned into travelling out to the Forbidden Forest with a group of students. It turned out to be a cruel prank pulled on to the shy girl, and Stella was left, stranded in the forest, with no idea how to get out. After wandering around for hours, Stella managed to run into a
An unknown amount of time later, Stella awoke in a dark and dreary cave, and she was ravenous. She drug her weak body to the mouth of the cave, only to be greeted by the burning sunlight. Scared and confused, Stella made her way back into the darkness, and waited for nightfall. Once the sun set and the moon rose, Stella stumbled her way out of the empty cave and began trying to make her way back to the school once more. While staggering throughout the forest, Stella came upon a group of people in a clearing. After pleading for help, the group took the poor girl back to their residence – another damned cave. Stella wouldn’t complain, at least this time she had someone there. Their conversation in the cave was like smoke, nothing substantial enough for her to catch. Stella faded in and out of consciousness, as the burning originating from her neck grew more and more intolerable.
Stella awoke what she could only guess was the next night, surrounded by the faction of pale forest inhabitants. They broke to her, the unfortunate news, that she had been turned by an outsider.
Turned into a vampire.
The news broke Stella, and the socially graceless gaggle of vampires did their best to try and comfort her. Like her, many of them did not choose this way of life, and were rather fond of human kind (though humans at the time did not view them as quite the same). She found that most vampires were unlike the one who attacked her, and they most often fed on animal blood to sustain them. They taught Stella their ways, and brought her up as one of their own.
Stella didn’t have the heart to break to her parents that their beloved daughter was turned into a monster; she let the school records go unchanged. They wrote her off as a Missing student. Probably put up posters for her in nearby towns to begin with, but only a select few were aware of what happened. Stella wasn’t bitter towards them. They would have to live with their guilt for the rest of their lives. But Stella did grow a burning hatred towards the man who changed her. An innocent, lost little girl now tainted with his blood. She would never forget his face. And she would be the one he last saw in his life – right before she kills him.
Through the years, Stella’s group of saviors slowly dwindled down to nothing. Whether one decided it was time to split ways, someone got caught too early in the morning by the sunlight, or the rogue, illegal vampire hunter would track one down, they all parted ways (some more willing than others).
The local wizarding town, Hogsmeade, began allowing the vampires admission a good many years after Stella’s disappearance. It is here where Stella developed her fondness for drink, nicotine, and facial metal. Stella was able to keep up with political happenings through the ages through gossip within Hogsmeade. After the end of the Second Wizarding War, many organizations for the bettering of other Magical Beings made their break through, including The Society for the Tolerance of Vampires. As a whole, Other Magical Beings were being treated considerably better than when they started. Acceptance was coming upon the Magical World. She soon caught news of Hogwarts accepting Vampirical students. With no one left in the cave she called home, Stella decided it was the best time to resume her education at Hogwarts.
