Overall Personality: Noelle is a very proper young woman. She’s incredibly smart, and well-spoken. Noelle is optimistic and caring - she enjoys brightening others days. Noelle is bright, and she’s not afraid to show it off every now and again. Her brains gave her a quick mouth - so playful, witty banter comes easy to her.
After her sister’s death and her brother’s infection of lycanthropy, Noelle became very quiet and dismissive for a long period of time. It took her months to even begin picking up the pieces of her former, cheery self. Even as two years have passed since the incident, Noelle still isn't quite the glowing ball of joy she used to be – but she’s getting there.

Father: Leon Rousseau
Mother: Odette Rousseau
Siblings: Sebastien Rousseau (17)
Others: N/A
Birth Place: Versailles, France
Current Residence: Versailles, France (when not at Beauxbatons)
Overall History: Noelle was the second born child to Leon and Odette Rousseau; only two years younger than her older brother, Sebastien, and two years later she was followed by her younger sister, Renee. While Sebastien acted out at the coming of the new child, Noelle behaved the exact opposite. The young girl was ecstatic to have a younger sister, someone to look after and do girly things with (Noelle enjoyed playing with Sebastien, but sometimes a girl just needs… well, another girl).
Noelle’s magical abilities bloomed a little later than her brother’s did – in fact; she was worried she was going to wind up being a nonmagical squib. She was ten when her first incident occurred; Noelle had just gotten back from a local salon that had given her a horrid haircut. Thick, blunt bangs and a chin length bob that had been cut straight across. Even at that age Noelle could tell how awful it looked on her, and she desperately missed her long hair. Furious, Noelle went to bed early that night, and woke up the next morning with her hair just as it was before her tragic haircut. Her mother thought the ordeal was hilarious, but was glad her daughter had shown magical abilities. Noelle’s long awaited acceptance letter to Beauxbaton’s was delivered to her shortly after the incident.
Things were going swimmingly for the young Rousseau child at Beauxbaton’s. She loved the school, and made quick friends with quite a crowd. Noelle did well in studies, and even got to see her older brother often.
Everything changed Noelle’s third year. She and her brother had decided to visit their home and youngest sister for a short while. Renee had taken Sebastien outside to play hide and seek. The little girl had asked Noelle to play, but the girl denied her sister for studies. Though, realistically, she couldn’t have done anything to change the outcome of what happened, Noelle to this day despises herself for turning down her sister’s request.
Noelle was in the middle of her studies when she heard a bone-chilling scream come from who could only be little Renee. The blood drained from her face, and Noelle had never moved so fast. Her parents had heard the ruckus as well, and were hot on Noelle’s tail as she rushed to the scene. When Noelle came upon the gory, lifeless body of her younger sister and her mutilated brother she collapsed, stricken with shock.
The next few days were a blur for Noelle. Countless hospital visits to her brother, her sister’s funeral, mixed with sleepless, teary nights. In the days to come, Sebastien recovered, though he was now infected with lycanthropy. Noelle became a hollow shell of the cheery girl she used to be, and any little thing could set her off into a fit of tears. She secluded herself often, shutting out everyone – even her brother for a period of time. When Noelle finally came to her senses, knowing Sebastien would’ve (and did) everything within his power to save Renee. It took her a few days to muster up the courage to even approach him; it seemed that Sebatien had too cut off everyone, and became very aggressive. It had been a regular day when Noelle finally approached him. No verbal words were exchanged. Noelle simply hugged him tightly, as if finally saying I don’t blame you. We’ll be okay. And she walked away.
Two years have passed since Renee was murdered. Noelle is now studying harder than ever, and working with the goal in mind to one day put her sister’s murderer to justice.
