Why was she such a fool for Callum? He was the only one that treated her like absolute filth and now she was like this. She was advised against travelling to the United Kingdom because of a parasite. A parasite that she had to keep for another few months until it could be safely exiled from her body. March the 8th was the set date so far but apparently it could be three weeks earlier, setting a date of February the 15th or two weeks late, making it's expulsion from her womb March 22nd. There was a lot Clover despised about her situation and yet she couldn't kill her little parasite. She had chosen to give it nutrients from her body and until she could finish her school year, her parents would help her out, her mother moving to America soon while her father stayed in England. It was going to be hell but it was her decision. She could not in all good consciousness kill the life that grew inside of her. It was a part of her.
She'd been owing with Cal and through all the swearing and threats it was decided he was going to come here if he wanted his Christmas present. She refused to go to New Zealand to see him, especially if it just meant watching him flirt with that blonde virgin he wanted to turn into his own little whore. Clover wasn't in love with Cal and she knew he had other women, but she still found herself jealous of the attention he gave others, especially when she was around. She wanted his attention, she wanted his compliments but she knew that was all part of why she was so addicted to him, she wanted his approval, she wanted him to love her but she knew if he ever did, she'd grow bored of him and move on, though now she didn't really have a choice, she couldn't ever move on because of one little growth.
But here she was now, standing in a busy bar, throwing darts. She was playing alone but she had become like a local. She was living in a room upstairs and hadn't minded it. Her blood pressure was now managed by medications which meant she was unable to fly or apparate long distances. She was basically trapped in America but it could have been worse. She only had 9 more weeks to go. Something that made her feel a little nervous when she thought about it like that. She threw a dart hard and it just missed the triple twenty score. She threw the next and it hit right next to the first. Aiming her last dart she took a deep breath and threw it, just as the bar door opened and a cool wind blew in. She landed the triple twenty and stood up straight, walking to the dart board she collected her darts and wrote down her score on the black board.
