It had been days since that owl came into his bedroom and dropped Persephone’s letter onto his lap. Even with having a sister part of the wizarding world, he still wasn’t used to dealing with owls as letter carriers. While he wrapped up her necklace, the owl decided to be impatient and peck at his head. Stupid bird. He had missed Persephone so much, he had to pour it all into his art work. There was an idea he had been toying with, a piece completely dedicated to her plastered on the side of the Tube.
Puck stretched out his arms, trying to find the best way to slip into the underground and which train to bless with her image. He walked down the street, holding his outline in a cylinder case over his shoulder, and a bag filled with everything he would need to place it on the train. The entire population of London would be able to see his beautiful Perse and Puck would be the most envied man in all of Europe, maybe even the whole world. He walked down the stairs to the Tube station and waited until the security was looking the other direction and slipped down to the service stairs, keeping himself close to the wall to keep from getting hurt. This was his biggest piece in the most dangerous location to date, but he wanted to do it for Persephone.
He climbed onto an abandoned platform and grinned when he saw the stationary train, just waiting for Persephone’s image on it. Puck set down everything, knowing he would have to be quick if he wanted to get away with doing this. He set the stencil on the side of the building, smiling at her almost abstract image. It was her, her long hair blowing in the wind with a pomegranate in her hand, and the crescent moon and bundle of stars in it in the other. A sign of the Goddess and Queen she was named for, and the symbol from the necklace he got for her.
Once the stencil was up and onto the train, it only took a few finishing touches and it was perfect. Her lush lips, the red in the fruit, her soulful eyes. He knew that he would never be able to capture the full beauty of Persephone, but this was a start. There was something different about this last time that she was here. They were usually good about parting ways without a second thought, but Puck knew something was different between them now. He was in love with her, and he had a feeling that she felt the same for him.
Puck cleaned up his supplies, gave the piece a final look and made his escape through the tunnels again and back up the service entrance before any of the security guards even noticed. If he had magic, he knew it would be even easier, but nowhere near as rewarding. He walked back up the Tube stairs, knowing that when the train went to pick up it’s first batch of white collar office drones, they would be blessed with an image of a beautiful woman who was all his.
