Neville was crawling at the walls desperate to go home. He wanted to be at home, snuggled up with his wife, without his pants on. Instead he was stuck at a meeting for all of the professors as they went through their lesson plans and all of that boring business that had him desperate to leave and just toss Hannah over his shoulder and take her to their bed for the rest of the evening.
“Headmaster, what do you think?”

He snapped out of his thoughts of holding Hannah close to him and tried to figure out who just spoke to him,
“I’m sorry everyone, I’m sure your classes are going wonderfully, but I have a house full of children and a wife waiting at home for me.” A few of the professors grumbled about being able to have their time speaking with him taken away. He shot a few of them some glares, and since he decided who was able to stay a professor and who had to find employment elsewhere, they packed up their belongings and began talking amongst themselves. Neville smiled at his unofficial nephew, Defense Against the Dark Arts professor and new father, Teddy Lupin as he packed up faster than the others,
“Thanks Unc—Headmaster Longbottom.” He watched the professor’s usual brown hair while at school tint with turquoise blue with happiness as he rushed for the door and where he presumed was to his office to use to fireplace.

Neville could remember when his family first started to grow, he had spent so many nights sneaking back to their home together that Headmistress McGonagall just gave in and allowed him to live at home with his wife and children. Weekends were spent with his children and his wife, though he would bring them to watch all of the quidditch games. While he would try to deck them out in Gryffindor pride, he would always love to see Hannah all bundled up in her black and yellow alumni house colors.

He packed up his last few belongings and waved goodbye to the other professors and quickly flooed back to his loving home with the intentions of just taking off his shoes and cuddling with Hannah for the rest of the day. They were working on adopting another baby, and while he was over the moon excited for it, he wanted to spend as many days as possible just holding his wife, before they had an infant to take care of.

Another baby. He never thought about having another child until Lucy moved out of their home. He realized how much more fathering he had in him, and he realized that Hannah felt the same way. He saw how she was with Teddy and Victorie’s twins Remus and Gabrielle, and then he saw how she was with Dominique’s little girl Renee. It was painfully clear that she wanted another baby and Neville thought that adoption would be the best for them.

He stepped into his fireplace and dropped the powder to his feet, shouting out his home address to take him home. Neville stumbled out into his home, smelling something amazing in the air. He knew that scent from somewhere, but felt like it had been so long since he smelled it.
“Hannah? Baby I’m home!” He set his bag onto his favorite chair and walked into the kitchen, assuming that Hannah was making something for the two of them.

Neville froze with the largest grin possible on his face when he saw the Gryffindor Pride cupcakes and could remember the four times when he saw them before. He saw them and smelled the same scent when Hannah told him that she was pregnant: with Lucy, with Frank, with Crystal, and then with the Twins. Was she pregnant? Neville grinned, hoping that he was right. Could it be that she was pregnant and they would have the baby they were adopting.

“Hannah my love, my life, where are you?” He ran his finger over the frosting on one, the grin highly clear in his voice. He looked into the next room and saw her standing in her apron looking absolutely gorgeous as always. Without saying a word more, Neville rushed to her scooping her up into his arms carefully and spun her around,

“Tell me the good news before I assume anything, my life.”

Holding Hannah in his arms, it was absolute perfection. They had been together since they were twenty and he knew that there could never be anyone else in the world he would love as much as her. They had been through so much together, his grandmother passing away, her inheriting the bar, four pregnancies and five perfect babies. Even though their oldest was eighteen and perfectly capable of taking care of herself, he still felt like there was a lot of fathering left in him. He still wanted to be able to hold a small child in his arms and make sure that they knew they were loved more than anything in the world. That was when they met Vanessa. A sweet woman who couldn’t take care of a child that she had been blessed with, so Hannah and Neville would,
“We have?” He held her closer, a little confused about the and. And? And what?

Pregnant.
Hannah was pregnant.

Neville gently placed Hannah down and tried to process what she told him. He dropped to his knees and gently lifted her shirt, smiling at the slightly swollen stomach that he hated himself for not noticing when he slept next to her. If he knew Hannah, she probably took precautions to keep him from finding out until she could make her cupcakes. He leaned forward and kissed her stomach and looked up at Hannah,
“I love you. I love you more than words can say, and actions can prove.” He stood up and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her flush against him and kissed her deeply.

He picked her up again and carefully spun her around.
“Two babies! This is amazing, I can’t…” He kissed her again unable to believe they would have two small children running around within the year. They would have a beautiful child from Vanessa, given to them selflessly so they could provide him with a better future. Give him a future where he was surrounded by witches and wizards, the culture that he was born into with parents who would spoil him rotten with their love and attention. They would have a beautiful child from Hannah, with their features who would have a same-aged sibling and a wonderful family.

“I love you Hannah, I can’t wait to tell the kids.” He nuzzled her neck, knowing that Lucy, Frank, Crystal, Bobby and Jules would all go crazy when they found out they were going to have some younger siblings to dote on. Vanessa was due soon enough, and while Neville was sure that Hannah had no idea, he already started stock piling on some of the simpler items they would need. He had piles of diapers, onesies, all of the smaller items that were gender neutral and easy to stock up on. He kept them all in their shed, because he knew that their older children wouldn’t go looking for anything in there.

Neville wished that he had met Hannah during his first year. That he had popped his head into her compartment to ask for her help finding his toad on that first day, and he knew that he would have fallen in love with her on the spot. He wouldn’t have had those short lived relationships with Ginny Weasley, or Luna Lovegood, all that would matter would be his Hannah. Of course, if he had her for all of those extra years, some people would argue that they wouldn’t be together now, but Neville knew differently. He knew that no matter what happened in the world and in his or her lives, they would still be together now. It would just be more time as the luckiest man alive.

She was pregnant again. She was going to have his child again, and they were going to bring Vanessa’s son into their home. How on Earth could Neville be so blessed? He went from the boy with barely a family, to one with a beautifully large one that was ever expanding. He grew up visiting his parents in the hospital when they could barely recall who he was, he grew up with a grandmother who tried her hardest but could only do so much. Now he had a life as the man with five grown children, and two on the way. He knew that his parents would have been proud of him if they knew who he was. His grandmother would have been proud if she had lived.

Being parents came so naturally to the couple. Hannah got pregnant with Lucy right around when Ginny was pregnant with James, and he could remember how difficult it had been for Ginny. Hannah? Everything seemed like it was prefect. They were able to have their little family and quickly found it expanding. The passion between the two of them was always intense, even when she insisted that she looked horrible from not quite losing the baby weight, Neville couldn’t resist her.

Hannah held onto Neville's shoulders as he spun her around. she grinned from ear to ear. She was never happier than when she was telling Neville that they would be expecting a baby, apart from maybe when she had her babies in her arms for the first time and seeing Neville with their infant children. She'd always remember those moments for as long as she lived, they were tattooed on her memory, especially Lucy, her first birthing experience and first perfect angel.

After Bobby and Julia were born, they were careful with birth control and attempted to be smart about it. It worked for so many years, Neville had almost feared that they were really finished having children. He thought that all he had to look forward to was his children graduating from Hogwarts, then getting married, maybe even having their own children. From how much Lucy and Fred Weasley were spending time together, he was a little scared that grandchildren were going to come sooner than expected. He smiled at his wife, and knew that their children would be happy for them and welcome their new siblings into the large and loving family.

Neville kissed her deeply, knowing that their children would have to be happy for them. Bobby and Julia would be happy with having baby siblings. There were still times when Neville wished that he had been around more when Lucy and Frank were infants, but his job at the time as an Auror had him chasing down bad guys at all hours of night. He still blamed himself for what happened with Frank when he was a child.

There was a werewolf who he put away when Frank was about three. His pack members apparently didn’t take too well to losing their Alpha and kidnapped Frank for almost a week to get back at the Longbottoms. Hannah had been pregnant with the twins when it happened and Neville never felt such horror in his life. It was a week of hell, leaving Neville without the ability to protect his oldest son the way that a father was supposed to. They kept Frank through the full moon and turned him into one of them. The animals left him on their doorstep half dead and a werewolf.

He snapped out of his thoughts of what happened with Frank, knowing that his son was safe now. There was nothing that would cause Frank, or any of his other children to be unhappy for the rest of their lives. He would protect his two new children with everything in his body, and he knew that the older children would as well.
“Well you know Lucy, her head always in the clouds.” He laughed, knowing that his daughter was always working on a new piece of art. She did some modeling for a while, but he was happy that she was back to staying around England instead of roaming around Europe with her fashion shows.
“I’m sure that Frank, Crystal and the Twins will scream and jump around a lot.”

Neville smiled when Hannah took out her cellphone to text their children. It was amazing to see how far the wizarding world had come since his days at the school. When pureblood witches and wizards would try to use their wands on televisions to make them work, or when Arthur Weasley would enchant parts of his car in order to make it fly. He wrapped his arms around his excited wife and pressed a kiss to her forehead,
“I think that Frankie is on his way home anyway. I don’t know about Bobby and the girls.” His children had their own lives, all of them running in different directions. As much as it pained him, he was proud of them all. He knew that when the two babies came, they would be as loved as their older siblings, and he had a feeling that the older Longbottom children would be excited to be able to have younger siblings to dote on. It was Neville’s secret hope that having the younger siblings would curb any desires that his daughters might have towards having babies of their own. When Lucy started dating, he became worried. Thankfully, it always seemed like Lucy had a good head on her shoulders and hoped that he was right.

He smiled at his wife’s pleadings and knew that he would never be able to say no to her. Even with the slight swell of her stomach, he thought she was impossibly sexy. Even when she was pregnant with the twins and felt that she was the size of a whale, Neville could barely keep his hands off her.
“How can I ever say no to you, my love?” He kissed her softly and pressed his forehead against hers for a moment to just take it all in. They were going to have their biological child, created out of love, and then their adopted child given to them out of love. He always knew that there was more than enough of everything in his family. They had enough finances, love, support and dedication to go around, two more additions would be more than loved. Neville stole a final kiss and left the home to go down the road to the butchers for his lovely wife.
