I know that we are upside down ,so hold your tongue and hear me out
Felix had found himself in a comfortable routine. Right now he was right on schedule. Or rather on schedule for him. The habit by getting distracted by a book or a paper he had stepped on that was lying on the floor was a common thing. So it was simply worked into as part of his morning routine.
This particular morning at this particular time found Felix standing in his boxers, tooth brush hanging from his mouth, with a large leather bound book on a side table him leaning over it with curious eyes, as if he hadn’t read it a million times before. The book was obviously old Runes covering the pages. They almost seemed to glow in the gold ink they were penned in.
Ferdinand scampered around his multilevel cage and squeaked for a treat. It managed to catch Felix’s attention and push a smile from his lips. “Okay buddy. “ He mumbled over the toothbrush. He found his wand and summoned a treat for the chinchilla. “There you go.” The rodent snatched up the treat and happily started munching on it. Felix laughed and lightly scratched his pet with a finger.
To the bathroom! He finished up cleaning his face and fixing his hair up. A plain pair of jeans and clean short sleeve button up was all that he dressed in. Felix turned on his heel and looked down at his bed where a lump laid under the covers. A soft, sweet smile drew up the corners of his mouth. A sprig of blond hair sticking out from under the blanket.
He let the man that rest there stay sleeping and wondered of too the kitchen. Pancakes. That was what he decided would be on the menu for this morning. With the help of his magic Felix got breakfast ready with little difficulty only getting distracted once and letting an egg drop to the floor.
A small tray was found and Felix set a plate on it loaded with pancakes scrambled eggs and apple slices. A glass of orange juice and coffee accompanied the plate of food and beck to the bedroom he went. Felix rapped on the door frame “Wakie wakie,” He cooed hoping he was heard.
Felix set the tray on his side of the bed hoping it wouldn’t get knocked over. “The morning is lovely Harrow!” He leaned over and lightly kissed the other man on the forehead. It was a short, sweet little kiss. Felix was not the best when it came to physical displays of affection. He tried often he worried that it wasn’t enough. This whole relationship was one of the hardest things that Felix had ever had to wrap his head around. Hopefully he wasn’t failing too badly at it.
