The large wardrobe was in the center of the room and she looked at the old thing for a moment with settled eyes. The sound of the music was rather annoying, but it wasn't because of the music, but the level of loudness. The man's hair was of course a strange color and never the same shade within the same minute. It was rather annoying to look at him one time and see him with brown hair and then turn around and see it was blue. It was confusing, but he was gifted with a genetic ability and that was something that was rather neat. The chair that was before the large piece of furniture caught her eyes and she wondered why they still used that trick if they had magic to keep the door shut.

Why had she missed this class? Was it because she had skipped school that day because she went to Knockturn Alley again? It was extremely possible and luckily, the man had no asked any questions. Alexandria noticed the cushions on the floor and then looked up at him as he noticed her. "Miss Flint, right on time thank you. Are you excited for a thrilling lesson about fears?” Excited? Was that the word he used for this? Alex just wanted to get it done soon, but right now, she had no idea what the thing would come out as. "To be honest, I'm not sure what I fear... I wonder if it will come out at all..." Alexandria was a touch little witch, but not knowing what she feared probably told others that she had suppressed the fear over the last couple of years. "Shall we begin?” Alexandria pulled out her want and nodded slightly at him.

The sound of the music no longer in the air was rather relaxing, but it was very quiet now and she wasn't completely sure if she liked it. The fact was, the sound of the castle was more annoying to her, even though it was maybe the wind going through the halls or the people walking past the door. Maybe he could turn it on? Just a little bit quieter? The woman thought to herself, but there was no point in asking, this was class and it would be over with shortly.

“Isn’t that part of the fun? Part of the mystery and the allure?” The woman looked at him for a moment and then gave a simple nod, figuring that it probably was to some people, but to her, she wanted to know herself perfectly and if she didn't know herself, she felt incomplete. “Alright Miss Flint, can you tell me what the counter spell you’ll be using is and can you tell me what it'll do to the boggart?” The woman thought about her recent studies and gave a nod. "Of course, Professor. It is called Riddikulus and it is suppose to make the boggart take on the form of something funny from the form it was in when I feared it." The woman said to him as she stood there, but how did one find laughter in something that they feared? Alexandria did not know how to get past any fear that would be coming from this and right now, she did not know if she even feared anything.

“It even sounds silly, brilliant spell name, really.” More like foolish in her opinion. But right now, there was no point in arguing with a professor about her own opinion.

Granted, she didn't think she would pass out, but the fact was, she had no idea what would come from that box and what fear she had most in her heart. This was not something she had ever thought about and it troubled her now more then anything else. For someone who was so sure of themselves, who could take care of herself and her older brother... She suddenly felt extremely vulnerable. A boggart knew how to read minds in a way, it could not only take the form but even mimic the actions, in a way. Alexandria worried now for sure what would happen.

"Very good, Miss Flint. Very good. Now, as soon as you're ready I'll open the wardrobe and then we'll get started. On your word, Miss Flint." The young lady nodded, drawing her wand out and preparing to see what came out. The woman wondered what this being would turn into and she took in a deep breath, closed her eyes for a moment and looked out at the wardrobe. The sound of the music at a low tone was slightly comforting, but she still had her stomach turning into knots. Whatever came out, she could handle it.

"Wand at the ready." Nodding, she lifted her want and watched as the wardrobe opened. For a moment, nothing came out of the darkness, but then it shifted and a foot came out, followed by the body of a man... Marcus Flint. Alexandria's eyes widened at seeing the last image she ever had of her father standing before her. "Dad..." The voice that came from her was more of a whisper and the man seemed to hear it, or maybe it was the boggart reading her mind. "Dad? I'm not your dad, you worthless girl..." It was like hearing the last words he ever spoke to her before he was taken away and her mother was dead. "You are nothing more then that... Womans child... And his child... I already made her pay, now it's your turn." The thing started to come towards her and it was like she was a child again, frozen in her spot, wand hitting the ground as she back up, her body hitting a desk before she fell to the ground.

Alexandria felt her elbow hurt her slightly from hitting the desk as she fell down, felt her back hurt from pushing herself into a near wall to get away from the man who she had grown up to be her father. The last memory, it had been terrible, it had been the worse thing that had happened to her. The man had just killed Tracey, her mother and she had found him before he found her brother... Right when he was about to kill her, the ministry showed up... "And his child... I already made her pay, now it's your turn." Those words haunted her more then she had originally thought. The man was as good as dead though! How could this even be possible that she was scared of a man in prison?

"Alexandria, are you alright?" Alex looked up at him for a moment, her body she could feel shaking slightly as she nodded and then pulled one of her knees up. "Top draw of my desk, there is a lot of chocolate. Eat some and take a seat. You need to get some color back in your face." Looking at him, he turned her head, seeing her reflection in a glass and seeing just how vulnerable she was. Nodding her head, she stood up, not even going to her wand, just to the desk where she saw some chocolate. Normally, she wasn't someone to eat this sugary stuff, but for now, she was... "He's dead... He's dead... Why be scared of a memory, it is weakness." Alexandria said, though mostly to herself.

The music was suddenly gone and the silence filled the room slowly, the only thing she could hear was the thumping of her heart in her ears and the feeling of it banging against her rib cage. Where was Billie when she needed the woman? Billie had been one of the few that she told about the abuse and the fact that she was Draco's daughter. Billie helped her through the fear at one point and now she had let her go. What was Alexandria thinking? Looking at the wardrobe, she mentally cursed herself for allowing her fear of her father to be shown. This wasn't what she had expected. Maybe something else like a pathetic lion or spider, but her father? The man was nothing anymore, he was in prison and he wasn't going anywhere!

"It's not a weakness." Alexandria looked at him for a moment and then away. To her, it was a weakness, it was something she didn't want others to know and use against her. With the right spell, it could ruin her. "Whenever I see that thing, I see my wife and children laying dead. It's not a memory, just a nightmare I have. They're safe, but every time I see that creature, it turns into my two babies dead on the floor. Unable to help them." Alexandria looked at him and then back at the wall. "I don't know why I fear him still... He is in Prison, he is nothing anymore, can't hurt me." The woman said to him as she pulled her knee up to her chest slightly.

"Our fears, they're there to help us. They keep us grounded and make sure that we remember what we need to protect. You, Miss Flint, need to remember to protect yourself." The woman looked over at him and then back at the wall again. Yea, she knew she needed to protect herself, it was why she kept her heart so cold, it was why she did let anyone too close... Like Billie... She had let Billie in too much and it scared her.

The woman rubbed her wrist slightly, a habit that had come around from child hood, something she would do when she was hiding to keep from moving her hands too much. Watching the dark object before her, she felt herself become more determined... No matter what, she would get over his fear and if he ever came around, she would kill him. Pushing her thoughts from her mind, she wondered if he still lived within the prison. The man had been taken away, but she had never known what happened to him, his presence was gone. Taking the chocolate, a woman's best friend, she broke it into a smaller piece and popped it into her mouth and chewed on it some. The sweetness melting in her mouth and she couldn't help but smile as she looked at it. Now, don't think this smile was something to marvel at, it was small and only someone who was watching her would notice it. Grabbing the blanket with her own hand, she knew she had failed, mostly because she had not used the spell like she had planned to use it.

"Do you have anyone in your life you can confide in? Your brother, your friends?" Only one person did she really like to talk to about this stuff and she didn't want anyone else to know who that was either. Mostly because she didn't want others to know she had a soft spot for her, but also because she didn't want someone finding out about her emotions towards Billie and them taking her or getting to her. And her brother? Granted, they lived together, but he probably didn't want to hear about her nightmares. She considered themselves close, but she still knew that he might not care that deeply for her.

"It also, gives us something to fight against. Imagine how boring life would be if you didn't check under your bed for the monster? If you didn't befriend the monster or make it your bitch." Alexandria looked at the professor after he had cursed and noticed the red hair and smiled slightly at his sudden embarrassment. "You didn't hear that."

"Of course not, Professor." The young woman said, watching as he stood up and walked towards the wardrobe. Another around maybe? "I still don't understand why I would be scared of a man who is probably dead... Or maybe even too insane to know who I am from being in prison?" The woman asked, mostly to herself but if he answered, then maybe it would be a good thing, right?

"For your assignment to go with this. Talk to someone about what you saw. Your brother, a friend, me, another professor, whoever you have to. I just want you to talk to someone about your fears. The more people who know, the less scary it becomes. Someone who you trust enough not to use it against you." Talk to someone about the fear? Looking down, she didn't know who she could trust except for maybe Billie, but Billie had other things going on and if she was not mistaken, a new person to her heart. "I'll try Professor."
