London was a busy and dangerous city. Fae was no longer a fan of all that it had to offer. Sure the markets were amazing and most of the people were great but being attacked three times was taking it’s toll mentally. She was very ready to move away but before she could she had to find somewhere to stay and possibly a new job. She knew it wouldn’t be any good to Hannah but Fae was being stalked, by a vampire no less. She couldn’t just hang around, waiting to become dinner again. She had to be productive and see if she could maybe stay with someone. Godric’s Hollow and Hogsmeade were her first choices but if that vampire found her again then she was contemplating moving across the pond to America. He sounded Russian so she doubted that horrid vampire would travel that far to find her, actually she doubted he would even guess that she had gone that way. Of course there was always New Zealand to consider. Half way around the world had a nice ring to it.
Fae carried with her an over night bag with more than one change of outfits. It was a lot bigger on the inside than it looked and she pretty much had her entire wardrobe in there, over half her movie collection, special blankies and snuggle clothes and quite frankly she could still have fit more in. Her over night bag had turned into a life long stay bag. She may as well have packed everything.
One of Fae’s least favourite ways to travel the country was on the Knight Bus but it would be hard for a vampire to track. She supposed apparition would be too and so she took the Knight Bus up to Scotland, sliding all over the place until it was her stop. Once there she hopped off at mostly wizarding village, miles away from Hogsmeade and then apparated to a side alley next to the Three Broomsticks. Three hours had passed since she’d gotten on the Knight Bus and how people managed to sleep on the bloody thing was beyond her. She would not be travelling via that mode of transport for a very long time to come.
Fae stepped out from the side alley and looked up at Hogwarts. The grey sky’s were light and showed promise of possibly parting a little later in the day, but of course there was always that ever looming threat of rain. Still the castle against such a powerful sky looked magnificent sitting high in the hills. She fancied paying it a visit but knew that wasn’t really an option, she would settle for trying to draw it from day to day to fill in some of her time. She was on holidays from the Leaky for a little while and what better way to spend her time away from work in a bar than in another bar?
Fae pushed open the door to the Three Broomsticks and it was just as it had always been. Fae grinned and made her way forward, the door closing behind her as she made her way to the bar. She took a seat on a barstool and placed her bag on the floor next to her, hoping to see a smiling, familiar face as her bartender this afternoon.
