Marietta was supposed to be heading home from school. But she was going home yet. She had sent her bag home with her brother, brought a couple pairs of clothes and then headed towards a floo network. She was heading to meet up with Annabella. They had planned it out a couple of months ago. Now that she was actually heading to meet up with her she was even more excited to get out of Scotland for the summer. It would be nice to get far, far away from her family. She did not get along with most of them, her brothers sometimes, but not generally. They were annoying and younger. Her and her sisters relationship was a whole other story. Mari would be willing to ditch town just to not have to see her sister. She was glad to be getting away before going to Aridorn to in September. She was looking forward to it but her sister was there, and she was going to have to deal with her 24/7. Marietta finally got to the closest floo network. She was making sure to use one that wouldn’t cause her parents to find out where she was going. She threw down the floo powder and carefully spoke the name of the place she was meeting Annabella, ”Laughing Gnome Inn.” She felt the familiar feeling of transporting to the location she had said outloud. She closed her eyes, the feeling always made her feel a little bit nauseous.

Once she opened her eyes she looked around the place she had ended up in and walked out of the fireplace. She noted that there were not very many people in the place. It seemed… dead. She noticed Annabella in a corner. She walked over. ”Hey!” Mari said happily to Annabella.

Marietta smiled at Anna, ”Wonderful, even if it isn’t good, I think anything will taste good when I’m this hungry, I feel like I haven’t eaten in hours!” Marietta said happily. Although, the realty of it was, that she had literally eaten 30 minutes before that moment. But she had just had a little bit, nothing too big. Just a snack. Mari would eat all day though if she could so, sometimes, the amount she ate, didn’t seem to matter to her.

Marietta smiled at Anna, ”Oh, my week was pretty good, I’m glad to be finally out of Hogwarts, although, it means spending the next three years seeing my sister every day, I think I can handle it… possibly,” Mari replied happily. She was glad to be leaving Hogwarts, but the thought of seeing her sister everyday made her was to cry all the time. ”How was your week?” Mari asked her, wanting to get her mind off the topic of her sister as quick as possible.

”Well that sounds like a good plan to me, I love to travel, and well not getting to do that back in Scotland, I am looking forward to leaving this Inn, and seeing outside of here,” Mari said, completely serious. She barely had left the country over the past two years, and when she did, she just went to England, which in her mind didn’t really count for her, considering it was a two hour long train ride away for her. Mari hated how constrictive her parents were and had always resented them for it, she knew that maybe there would be a time that she would look back and be grateful for it, but it didn’t seem to be coming any time soon.
