Shea watched her owl slip from the window as she looked over at the sleeping Tyreese on his bed. They had been hanging out the night before and she just spent the night. It stayed innocent, but she loved falling asleep in his arms. Shea quietly stepped to his side of the bed and tucked his blankets around him more. She wanted to spend more time with the older male, but she needed to spend some time with Devi. She was engaged! It was so much to handle and seemed impossible. It only felt like the day before that Shea was setting the two of them up. She knew that it was really a life time ago. When Mark was making her uncomfortable with his 'you're priceless' analogies, and getting into fights with Alex every day. Mark and Devi, now engaged. Alex in Azkaban. Shea smiling at the sleeping Tyreese Atticott, knowing she was falling hard for the man.
She carefully kissed his forehead and left a note about having to meet up with a friend, that he should call her later that evening. The blonde woman pulled on her shoes and grabbed her bag. She stole a final glance at Tyreese and slipped away from the apartment. Shea put her sunglasses on her face and started to walk towards the tube station she would need to get back to Soho.
Alya had been away from the apartment, probably spending some of the summer with her parents or with Albus. Shea knew that their internship was going to start any day now, and while it would take her away from time with her brothers, sisters-in-law and her new boyfriend, she was excited to start her work at The Daily Prophet. After about half an hour, she was walking up the stairs to her apartment when she remembered what she was going home for. Devi was getting married! Married!
The blonde girl unlocked her door and turned on the lights, smiling at the exposed brick warehouse style apartment. She placed her purse on the rarely used kitchen counter and opened the refrigerator for a bottle of wine. She was sure that they still had a bottle of white somewhere. Smiling she pushed aside some of the take out containers that probably went bad days ago and opened the wine bottle so it could breathe. They never cooked in their apartment. Both Shea and Alya lacked that particular skill, but thankfully they lived in the middle of a cultural capital. Delivery at any time and their unused oven was turned into an out of season shoe closet. It was a win win.
