Jennison Chance Cordova
Jennison is not really what you would expect for a pole dancer. He is open hearted a complete goof and actually very loyal. On the stage he has managed to make his dance more than a grind, though of course when does his job right it seems there is more behind his movements than to get the audience wet. His dancing is more of hope for Jennison. He got into the job as a way to keep him busy and hopefully clean. Sometimes he does trapped by what he is doing Jennison does love his job.
When it comes to friends Jennison is one of the most loyal individual around. He can’t stand the idea of loosing a person, so he does everything he can to be the best for someone. In a way he comes off as too clingy, being the boy who will text his friends good morning every morning and goodnight every night. It is all in a good place he is just a little overzealous.
Now Jennison does have his moments of rage. He has a hard time staying light hearted when withdrawals come around. They are still bad, he had had a hard time not actually staying completely clean. The man is only a month into his latest attempt and given his love of heroin it takes a toll.
Now love. Love is something that Jennison falls for head over heels. It shamefully easy to win the boy over. Show him a cute smile and the time of day and a girl has him wrapped around their finger. He is a girl’s puppy when he is dating them. He tries to move mountains for girls though he can’t. His last real girlfriend he was there every day every moment with her. Up to the moment she died. Sense then it’s been mostly flings but he is trying desperately to find love in them. The fact that he seems to fall for damaged girls doesn’t help either.
-------------------------------
Jennison had a pretty normal childhood, or as much as one could have in Las Vegas just outside the strip. His mother gave up her gymnastics career once she found out she was pregnant. Jennison was her first child. Tallulah was her second.
As they got older things got not so easy. Their mom was never as happy as she used to be and got detached as she went day after day settling with being a librarian .Their father would start to stay out late and come home when the sun was climbing into the sky. It was just a case of two people who fell out of love as their lives formed into something they never saw for themselves. Unfortunately for their children their parents always thought that staying together for the sake of their kids was the best.
All of that seemed to take more of a toll on Jennison. He was the first born and expected to pick up all the pieces of their family .Regardless of the way the little family seemed to be unraveling she still tried to get her kids involved in things. At first Jennison was stuck in sports and Lulu in dance classes and gymnastics. He was more interested in what his little sister was learning than soccer.
Eventually he got his way and was enrolled into dance classes. It was something that Jennison loved to do with his sister. That was back when they were young and naive and nothing but happy. As they grew up things got darker in the Cordova kids life. Their father falling victim to all the sin that the strip held, he turned into just a fleeting figure in their life. Their mother more and more doing nothing but wasting her life away reading romance novels ignoring the fact that she was in a loveless marriage.
High school came and that was when things really started to go downhill. Jennison got bullied day in and out for being a dancer, getting called faggot and beat up in the halls. Tallulah would try to stand by his side but she would get bullied too for it. So eventually the stress got to her. She stopped sticking up for him and turned to other things in life, things that made life easier.
He dropped out of school because hanging out with the stoners and the druggies was easier than dealing with school and expectations. His parents checked out so why couldn’t he? His choice caust him his family and Jennison was kicked out. Jennison couch surfed from friend house to friends house. When having to help with rent came up he looked at his friend with a dumb look. He didn’t get a job. He figured out other ways to make money.
He was getting along pretty well, or in his mind he was. Living with a group of friends, all the parties he could ask for. Then he met Lacey. Jennison had gone through girlfriends in the past, they all mostly using him. Lacey seemed different. She thought his hopelessly in love act was cute. Jennison liked having the stability of someone who finally seemed to really want to stick it out with him.
Their relationship was very much a toxic one. They would lounge around the house most of the day. He would do anything for her. So now most of his money went for drugs. Every day was the same. Get up somewhere around noon. He would go out and get money. She would sometimes leave but was too high most of the time to care. He would come home with money she would tell him what drugs she wanted and Jennison would get them. They would get high together and eventually fall asleep.
For two years that is how it would happen. Finding money in the ways they could, doing all they drugs they could afford, going to parties nightly. It was a path to destruction. The road went to a dead end. For Lacey anyway. It was a normal day. Jennison came back from the drug run. She was on the couch. Coke. The night started off with a line each. The party started on cue and then it really got wild. People they didn’t know showed up, it wasn’t really that much of a problem. New friends happened, right? Jennison slowed down after the first line. Lacey of course dabbling in this or that drug. Hours into the night Jennison put out another line for Lacey and him.
When he woke up. There she was next to him, but dead. She had overdosed. The problem with everyone else being high in the room was that no one noticed her seizing in the night and ultimately choking her own vomit. Jennison freaked out. He said he loved the girl but not enough to stay there. So the boy ran, like a coward.
He ran. Jennison left the house and never looked back. For a while he found another friend to stay with. So there he lived, not changing a thing and getting worse with his habit. After a year of never getting a job he was told to leave. So he did. Now he was homeless. There was only one person he could think of turning to for help. His sister. They spoke here and there. He was always too ashamed to really spend the time he wanted to with her.
She was in New York now and was willing to help if her brother promised to try and get clean and get a job. He agreed and packed up the little belongings he had. It took a while to find a job but he got one. Tallulah doesn’t know what he does, he lies and says he works as a stock boy at a grocery store. As far as his drug habit goes it is a work in progress. Some days he does well. Other’s he almost can’t leave the house because of the sweats pains and vomit.
