It was a nice day out despite the snow. Snow in July was nothing new for the Aussie. Jamie had been in his appartment doing nothing in particular. He had been in England recently practicing with is team. Today he had time off but nothing to do so he sat in a chair slouched down and playing with his phone.
He wished that Kurby wasn’t busy and Izzy was off doing her own thing. Who knew what his brother’s were up to. Jamie made a note that he would have to go visit at least one of them and make sure they weren’t getting into too much trouble.
Blue eyes lazily fallowed the little character as it blipped along his phone screen. Then there was an alert it flashed on the top and Jamie forgot to concentrate on the game. His little guy fell into a pit and the music sounded as ‘Game Over’ showed up.
He blew a breath of air out in frustration and clicked the home button. Jamie opened the text message. A smile did manage to find it’s way across his face. Kurby. That was one way to turn his day around. It was just a little message, saying hello. He was hoping that she was going to ask him to meet her. But no.
Jamie stood still and pushed his hair into something that looked presentable. He might have been on his own today but that didn’t mean he needed to be stuck at home. Jamie walked around the city that he would be calling home now. Well….mostly. Jamie wasn’t sure how the Tornadoes schedule and school would work out but Jamie was down for the challenge. It was probably going to be tiring.
He ended up at the coffee shop. That was as good as a place as any to be on a cold day. He ordered a hot chocolate, something he hadn’t had in ages. Jamie claimed a table for himself and got comfy. As he sipped his drink he got his phone back out trying to cox one of the girls to join him. It was along shot.
