Lennox was in the process of punching out of work. He finished up with his last bit of work. He pulled his phone out of his bag and looked at it. New messages from his sister, Clover and... Memari? He read the message, hm, he didn't have anything planned yet. He would have normally texted her back to let her know he was free but he put his phone back in his pocket. He wandered over to the Laughing Gnome Inn, it wasn't far from his work.

He wandered in to the Inn and looked around spotting Memari. He wandered over, not really too sure what to say to her, after their last conversation, it could be a little awkward for him. He got to the table and smiled at Memari. "Good afternoon, Memari," he said, "Mind if I join?" he asked lightly and then sat down with her, without waiting for her to respond. He waved the waitress over and ordered a butter beer. He wasn't really hungry.

"How's your summer been so far?" he asked her smiling a little bit. He had been having a great summer, he figured it was mostly because of the fact that he wasn't living with his parents. Clover's wasn't horrible in fact other then the baby crying a bit he wasn't bothered by it at all. He played with his butterbeer glass a bit when they brought it over. Then took a sip of his drink. This was going to be a weird hang out time. He looked down at his lap, he eventually would have to go back home... Although he wasn't in a rush for that.

Lennox smiled at Memari. Feeling kind of dumb after he realized it was a pretty dumb question asking if he could sit. Lennox looked back down at his hands and then looking back up at Memari.

Lennox smiled at Memari, "I'm sorry I don't mean to be awkward, I'm just feeling a little... off today," he explained. Realizing he was kind of just pushing himself out of a hole he'd dug for himself. It wasn't that it was weird just because of the fact that they'd slept together, although it may have been a large part of the reason. He pulled himself together.

"Summer's been really good," Lenn said lightly, "I've been staying with Clover, so no need to deal with my parents, which is possibly the biggest blessing in disguise," Lenn said lightly, realizing he was talking an awful lot now, more then he had before. Lenn smiled at Memari again, "So I'm guessing you haven't really done anything interesting?" he asked her softly. He was glad that he got to spend sometime with Memari. He didn't know the girl all that well, but he was pleased that they were getting some time to get to know each other. He hadn't spoken to very many of his friends since school had ended. Although he was living closer now, Daphne had moved off to another country, which had upset him a bit, they were pretty close. He hadn't spoken to Layla since he'd broken up with her, but it had basically been a mutual thing, although he may have failed to mention the part about how he'd slept with Memari while they were still dating. It probably wouldn't of helped, and he had didn't it was good he'd left it out.
