Cahal wrapped his scarf around his face and tried to block out the winter wind. If he didn't love Bryson so much and if he didn't want to find a place for them to live so badly, then he would still be up in England with his boyfriend and enjoying the warmth of summer instead of the wintery waste land of New Zealand. The werewolf pulled his hat closer down his face and realized that he really hated the winter. It was cold and wet and snowflakes attacked him. He woul brave a thousand killer snowflakes if it meant being able to find his future home with Bryson. He walked down the cobblestone street of Clockwork City and glanced around the snowy tundra for his boyfriend.
He shoved his gloved hands into his pockets and leaned against an iron lamp post. Bryson was the best thing to ever happen to him and he had no idea what he would have done without him. With all of the insanity of their first year of Aridorn coming to an end, he was just happy to be there with the man he loved, searching for a place for them to live. There was an amazing apartment that he heard about, somewhere close to the school but still within Clockwork City. They would be able to move in by the end of the winter. Just in time for their classes to start back up.
Cahal checked his cellphone for any messages from his boyfriend. He knew that Bryson had gone to Scotland to visit with his family members, and he missed him painfully. The second that he was back in those arms, and nuzzled against his neck, the happier he would be. Being with Bryson was like an addiction. Any time that he wasn't able to be with the other man, when he wasn't able to curl into those arms and have his rough hands soothe away all of his pain in the world.
If Bryson was a superhero, that would be his power without a doubt. Cahal would be the wide eyed kid who he saved and together they would fly off into the sunset with all of the warmth and potential between them.
