Dressing Style: During school hours Wynter wears her uniform near and properly. When school is out, or she doesn't have any classes, Wynn typically dresses in a wide variety of styles ranging from frilly sundresses, to simple shorts and baggy sweaters. She usually wears feminine attire... However, dirt and mud aren't something foreign to her appearance when she's outside.


Likes: Animals (especially marine life), sweets, cold temperatures, various teas, sports, dueling, her family, her best friend Brynhildr Frosne, potions class and stuffed toys. Wynn is a huge supporter of the Holyhead Harpies. She also has a ragged stuffed octopus named Jasper that she is quite fond of.

Dislikes: Misguided judgement, things she doesn't understand, seafood, detention and Defense Against the Dark Arts (she doesn't hate it, its just not her best subject).

Overall Personality:
Wynter is happy-go-lucky, kind, sheltered, caring, and always energetic. Her emotions are usually highly positive, but the downside is that when she finally does get upset she gets really upset. There is no happy medium to her personality. She comes off as a bit childish and naive.

Even if she seems like a basket full of sunshine, rainbows, and lame fish puns; Wynn was rightfully placed in the Slytherin house for her overly ambitious, resourceful, and sometimes mischievous and sly nature. Her blood is in the right place as well, though proud of her heritage, she isn't one to boast or brag. Even so, subtle signs and omens seem to follow her wherever she goes. An unexplained tragedy of her past isn't forgotten, but it does keep her on her toes.

More than anything Wynter adores her family, mostly her (adoptive) father, and anyone disrespecting her family, her father, or her name will end up in the infirmary if she gets her way. It should also be noted that, should she be provoked, she can become violent, sometimes ignoring her wand and dueling completely, and ending up in an all out fist fight. Usually only those speaking ill about her family, or taking something she holds dear will provoke this reaction from Wynn. Its for her brains and explosive emotions that make her both a great student, and sometimes a troublesome one.

Overall History:
Wynter was born to the youngest brother of the Lunaris family, a long standing family of pure blood wizards and witches. She lived a sheltered and unflattering life with her mother and father. Keith, being the youngest of the Lunaris family was set on having a boy, something his older, half-brother and his sterile wife couldn't do. A goal to bring a new, male, heir to the family. Someone who could pass on their name, and give him the attention he felt he deserved. After Wynter's mother died of an illness when she was almost four, her father's attitude towards her only soured. Unfortunately she was his only child, and not quite the son he had hoped for.

After a mysterious fire swept over her family home, claiming the life of her father. Wynter was left unscathed --though traumatized-- and unable to tell authorities the cause of the fire. After many months of investigation, the authorities were only able to rule that it was an arson. Wynter was the only confirmed to be around, and she was unable to conjure such magic at the time. So without any further evidence the case went cold.

It was her father's half brother that took Wynter in after the fire and eventually came to adopt her, unable to have children of his own, she was a much appreciated addition to their family. After all the Wynter went through, she had fell into a better life with her new parents, even going so far as to address them as such.

She moved into their family home, A castle hidden in the mountains of Wales. It was from there she got settled in her new life. Tutored from the moment she arrived, Wynter has studied many subjects, but mostly those pertaining to the family trade. The Lunaris family makes heirlooms, trinkets, and other high-class bewitched items. A business that her biological father refused to take up.

Her new father, now claiming to be retired from the business only makes his luxury items for commissioners that have interesting ideas, at the cost of small fortunes and the occasional favors. Its because of this Wynter hopes to pick up the trade, and carry on the tradition.

Shortly after getting her letter to Hogwarts, Wynter was given her father's wand, both as an heirloom, and something to help pacify her fears of going off to a boarding school. The wand has been passed down through the family for as long as anyone can remember, usually to the eldest male in each generation. However, Vincent and his wife lack the ability to bring another male into the family, they ended up passing it on to Wynter. Much to the dismay of Wynter's grandfather.

Though a basilisk skin wand working rather well for Wynter is just another added omen in the girl's life, she likes to think it brings her good luck. It was when she was having her wand tested in Diagon Alley that she met her best friend. Sure she broke the girl's arm and maybe got into a lot of trouble... and maybe the other girl tried to ruin her favorite stuffed octopus, but it was worth it... Maybe. The two are now thick as thieves and nothing silly like which house they were placed in has been able to keep them apart. That is, until they get into quarrels, but those never seem to last very long.
