Overall Personality: To say the least, Bry is a little spitfire; which is quite ironic given her disdain for heat. She loves being active and running about, and going on adventures is one of her favorite things. She is also quite an active prankster, finding the little mishaps she can cause to be incredibly entertaining. This isn’t to say that she is constantly moving however, only mostly. She also has a tendency to be rather lazy, particularly when homework is involved. Whenever temperatures get above what she would prefer she tends to lose any motivation for all but the most stimulating things, becoming quite indolent and, admittedly, quite whiney.

Though she is from a highly prestigious pureblood family, she herself holds none of the same prejudices. This is because she herself is not pureblooded, and she was raised away from the majority of her family, only visiting them occasionally. She does, however, have quite a high opinion of herself, though it could be said that it is merely excessive confidence rather than arrogance. Bry is normally quite bright and cheery, only a select few things able to bring her mood down, and those usually only make her grumpy. What she will not tolerate, however, is anyone picking on the little kids or especially her friends or family. Even perceived insults to her best friend or to her family rouse her ire, and she can quite easily lose herself in the rage.

Overall History:
Bry was originally born far off at her family’s castle in Norway. She hails from a very prestigious pureblood family who have long lived in the region and had many ties to Durmstrang and the local wizarding communities. Her father fell out of favour when he met and married a Veela lady while on holiday, and further when they decided that they did not wish for their daughter to follow in the family traditions. Before of this the three moved from home to the northern isles of Scotland, specifically Shetland Isle.

Coming from a wizarding family she received her wand quite early on from her family’s personal wandmaker, the wand marking her out as a rambunctious lass even at such an early age. Her youth was fairly typical for a young witch, and there was really nothing too spectacular about it; aside from some of the neighborhood dogs taking flight and falling into the bay, however.

Visits with her family in Norway were quite uncommon due to the hostility between her parents and grandparents, but when she did she always spent the majority of her time with her cousins, playing pranks on their servants or dueling each other.

When she came of age, rather than following her family in attending Durmstrang, she was accepted to Hogwarts. A visit to Diagon Alley to purchase school supplies turned quite interesting when, while having the merits of her wand tested, she unwisely chose to transfigure a young girl’s octopus into a small dragon. In spite of the irate wandmaker and the subsequent broken wrist she found the affair quite entertaining. She also held no ill will towards the girl and so when she found her sequestered in a cupboard at school she promptly chose to share her pudding with her, making unlikely friends of the pair. They have remained as such ever since, much to the astonishment of, well, everyone.
