Dressing Style: Owen usually dresses neatly in semi-casual attire. Vests, ties, and dress slacks are common. Clothes are one of his favorite things and he take pride in dressing nicely. When wearing more casual clothes, his t-shirts can vary from a spectrum of light pastel colors. Band t-shirts are usually among his favorite.

Overall Personality:
Owen is calm, collected, independent, and holds a kind disposition most of the time. He's easy to start a conversation with and loves to talk about anything and anything, but listening to other people is one of his stronger points. He's known to be a bit spineless at times, but when the situation calls for a more practical and forward approach his disposition will change drastically. Walking all over him only works for short periods of time before he stands his ground, and when he finally does, he's a force to be reckoned with. He can easily be put off and fall into short spans of depression, but most of the time he is cheerful and pleasant. Those who know him a bit better will point out how he's always trying to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders. Even if resting isn't common, he does know how to stop and smell the roses, but should probably put more effort in doing this more often.

Owen shows the same compassion he shows people towards the animals he cares for. No matter how gooey, slimy, scaly, or dangerous the animals he cares for are, he holds them all in high regards and tends to them without complaint. Though, Owen does have a minor pet peeve about dirt, however he's fine with it as long there is a way to clean off close by.

More than anything though, Owen is a total flirt. He loves to compliment people, men and women alike. Simple compliments and attaching terms of endearment are common, but not to be taken seriously. To him they are friendly advances, as he doesn't actively seek out any warm company at night anymore. In his younger days he was a bit more 'loose', but has since mellowed out his dating schedule. Owen is, and will always be a romantic at heart and has started to set standards for the men he lets into his life nowadays.

Overall History:
Owen is the youngest son of his full blooded veela mother and nearly half veela father. He and his older brother are the only children the couple ever had, and much of Owen's childhood is as anyone would suspect. Highly studious and curious as a child, he was constantly teased by his brother, but even so, his mother raised him to be kind and brush away the insults. When not at home, he would spend his days with his mother's best friend, 'Aunt Lillian', a woman who owned a ranch of sorts, home to all sorts of various magical creatures and beasts. It was near the woods, taking care of the various different animals that Owen found a sort of sanctuary.

Though his parents hardly ever quarreled, out of the blue, the two of them had a massive argument that lead to several curses flying around their quaint home near one of Norway's beaches. It was the same night Owen's father left with his brother never to be seen again. Distressed, Owen's mother up and moved them to London for a change of scenery. It was in London that their lives settled down again, the mother son pair were efficient enough to keep their heads above water, but still struggled for money on occasions. A few years later, he got his letter to Hogwarts.

His school years were carefree, finding that with his brother out of his life his confidence started to build, he made nearly perfect marks in his classes, and over all he found a second home at the castle. Of course his school years had their own difficulties. In his fourth year his mother got a strange amulet in the mail, bewitched in such a way that it landed her in the hospital for nearly 3 years, and even now still causes her to fall ill for days at a time.

After his mother's recovery, the two found that her illness was the least of their worries. Strange happenings mentioned in the Daily Prophet soon grew out of hand, and according to the news Owen's father and brother had dipped into the dark arts. It eventually lead to them being questioned by the ministry. Even so, they were unable to provide any information apart from the strange necklace his mother got a few years earlier. Months after being questioned, Owen's brother was caught by a group of aurors. He admitted to sending the amulet to his mother, but has yet to give information to the ministry on the whereabouts of his father.

With the random bouts of sickness and stress building, Owen's mother moved back to Norway to live with her friend a year after Owen graduated from Hogwarts. Owen went on to study dragons abroad for 7 years.

After much consideration, and a longing to return back to the castle he once called home, Owen has returned to Hogwarts to take on the position for Care of Magical Creatures.
