you're always looking at far away places can't you look at me? Kanghwa sighed as he sunk into a chair at an empty desk, opening his laptop with one hand and sipping on a coffee he snuck in from a vending machine in the other. Usually he wouldn't bother with his laptop, but today he didn't feel like dealing with the hoardes of students crowding around the computers to find out the latest Quidditch news. He went to his own news source, a Japanese site that followed any recent change on Asian subdivisions of classifying wizards. He had found the site by accident, originally stumbling across it on another site that was a purely muggle site. If he wasn't in school, KangHwa wouldn't mind creating his own website to follow news, but he had no ounce of coding skills and something told him he wasn't about to learn it here. He sipped on his coffee, glancing around to the other students. Since it was the library, everyone was in here, but the tables formed their own sorts of cliques, from Sunsuhan to Bin, and even at the computers he had a feeling the Sunsuhan kids were purposely on the complete other side of desks than the other students. A growl escaped his throat, only slightly, and he people watched for a bit. He wondered if he'd have had any more fun at Hogwarts, there maybe being a half-blood would've been respected, or downplayed in the least. It wasn't until he had even gotten to this school did he ever find himself hating his father. (Or was it just hormones causing that?) If he had just fallen in love at Hogwarts, which his father did once confess to having many crushes during his time there, or stayed at Korea University, maybe it would have been different for him. KangHwa set down his coffee on the desk, going back to people watching, or staring, really. He didn't feel like doing homework, not yet, so he'd revel in other people panicking to get it done instead. |
