It was an early Thursday morning as Professor Scott Hartley was stealthing his way around the corridors of Salem Institute. Obnoxiously so, one might add. Wearing all black clothing as he slid along the walls, and tucking and rolling across the floors. All dramatics. No one would be up at four in the morning anyways. But just walking to his destination would be entirely too mundane!
Scott finally rolled outside and to the Courtyard to find it empty, and full of snow. Good, goooood. Scott thought to himself as he cackled deviously. His plan was going better than he had hoped! Then again, this was the easy part, he supposed. The courtyard provided plenty of space for the History teacher's plot. He had to get to work, there was no time to lose!
Of course this task would be easier if his partner in crime would show up. Earlier in the night, Scott sent an owl to fellow professor Felix Satagori. After recent readings over this year's class plans, Scott became... Inspired by the Giant Wars. He figured, maybe it was about time for a lovely reenactment. Scott swished his wand and muttered a lumen charm, creating a hovering ball of light so he could see his work.
Nearly an hour had passed and with the help of a little bit of magic, Scott had been on his way to creating a small army of giant snowmen. It was quite impressive, really, and the still falling snow only increased the fuel to his fire. Another devious chuckle escaped his mouth. "This is beautiful!" He stood back and looked at his work in admiration. "I'm absolutely brilliant." He goaded, nodding his head. The minutes ticked passed as Scott continued his work. More snowmen. More weapons. Even a couple of catapults. It was nearing six in the morning now, Scott assumed kids would soon be waking up to begin morning classes.
This was it. The build was complete. Now all he needed was his partner in crime, a little charm here or there, and they would be in the midst of the greatest snowball war of all time.
