Jasper had sent the owl fifteen minutes ago. It was ten to three in the afternoon and the Great hall would be empty. After the stragglers of lunch but before dinner would be served. Jasper couldn't get the sight of Sabine out of his mind. She was wrecked. If Kasper had really done that to her then Jasper needed to know why. It hurt that his brother and his ex-fiancée were together and that they had been together before. It almost made him feel like a twisted joke on both their parts, make him fall in love with Sabine, open up to her, propose, be the happiest he could be and then she ran back to Kasper, probably laughing all the way. Jasper didn't like to think of it but his mind just would not stop. There were so many possibilities but that, that seemed most likely.
Jasper found his way onto the Hogwarts grounds with no difficulties other than the wind that would pick up every now and then. No spells were in place to keep him or anybody else off of the grounds and so he was free to enter. He looked about and noticed a couple of Professor's on the grounds over near some trees. No doubts they were there to put protections back up as soon as he was further in the grounds and there to take them down again when he needed to leave. Jasper knew he was looking for even the smallest of insignificant things to take his mind off of what could be happening so very soon. It was all just a temporary misdirections for his mind and it was sort of working and so he told himself to appreciate the fact that he was at Hogwarts once more but that was hardly good. The last time he'd come to Hogwarts was to speak with Kasper alone, to inform him of the death of their father. The death Jasper had caused.
Jasper received the owl he'd sent off to Kasper. He was only minutes away from the great hall. He took the parchment from the bird and opened it up, reading the scroll. He shoved the parchment into his pocket along with the one from Sabine. Jasper dismissed the owl and wondered what his brother was up to now. If Sabine was telling the truth then was Kasper looking for the boy he thought Sabine had been flirting with? If she was lying then was he getting his story straight? Jasper picked up his pace just a little.
Jasper found himself before the main doors of the castle. He entered Hogwarts and looked at his watch. Three exactly. The ground floor was empty and Jasper made his way to the great hall. As he expected, it was empty with no sign of Kasper yet. If his brother stood him up then he would search for him. There was nowhere Kasper could hide that Jasper would not find him, especially not with the sheer determination Jasper held to talk with his brother. Surely Kasper was not that much of a monster to hurt Sabine purely because he was paranoid. That did not sound like his brother at all. Jasper considered himself close to his brother. They never spent a whole lot of time together or even shared any interests that he could think of, but Kasper was not a twisted monster and they never lied to one another. They were family.
