Overall Personality: Hugo is a very kind, caring and good person by nature and he has strong morals, values and integrity. Personality wise, Hugo is loyal, friendly, caring, understanding, helpful, forgiving, trustworthy, straightforward, dependable and he displays a sense of duty. He is described to be the friendly boy-next-door type. Although, despite his generally good traits and his even temperament, he can be jealous and envious. Generally, Hugo is very friendly, playful, carefree and caring towards the people around him. He would go to any extent to protect those he loves most, most obvious in his sister. He is also shown to be somewhat sarcastic, obnoxious and childish, and has a bad control over his temper, something his mother says is his Weasley flare, and he gained it from his father. He was also very hostile towards any boys that are attracted to his sister and let's them know he has no trouble dropping his wand to throw a punch.

Hugo is brave, spirited, natural leader, and is willing to risk his life to save friends, family, strangers, and sometimes even enemies. He has a sarcastic and smart sense of humor, a laid-back demeanor. Hugo remains true and never goes back on his word. However, he is definitely not perfect. He is somewhat short-tempered, and thus has trouble controlling his anger and tends to do or blurt out things before thinking, no matter the consequences, causing him to get into a lot of trouble. He also feels responsible for everyone and anything which goes wrong.

Hugo is technically smart but seems to act dumb; and is obtuse, meaning he doesn't always see the obvious even when it is right in front of him, such as people's feelings and what they are trying to see indirectly. He seems to have gotten this part from his father, though he shows his mother's obvious talent at magic, and is strong in mainly Care of Magical Creatures, Transfiguration, and Defense Against the Dark Arts. He was brought up to become a typical wizard. His life was full of magic, his dad telling him stories all the time of his adventure, his mom preparing him for the real world as well as the magical one. She was a muggle-born, and knew a lot about that whole separate place. He was never considered a mommy's boy, as he had retained some of his father's persona, more than his mother. No, he was given his mother's mind, although sometimes he was blind to what was always right in front of him.

He never really thought about his parents's life before his birth. Hugo know it was the freaking second Wizarding War in their time, and Mum and Dad were two of the big three to help win the whole thing over, and it's nice and all to be part of the whole family, to be connected and such. But no matter how hard he would try, he seemed to be one of the only one in the entire school who wished he wasn't part of such a big name.

He liked being a Weasley, even if it gives him the term "red-hair" or "ginger" although his dad told him to never brawl, his mum told Hugo he have his temper, but her logical thinking, though he has the same "emotional range of a teaspoon". He didn't necessarily care. Come on. A third of the girls at this school were related to him in some way, so it wasn't like he had a good chance of ever dating someone. Plus, he never really saw it when a girl liked him anyways. He was dumb when it came to the opposite gender."

Growing up wasn't hard for him at all, and he got used to the muggle and magical side of life quite easily, although he preferred magic any day. Out of his family, he enjoyed the company of his godmother, Victoire Weasley. She was always so nice to him and understood how he felt, or at least tried to. They could talk for hours. She was his cousin of course. Big shocker there, but after his sister and parents, he would have to say he loved her the most.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was always such a nice place for him, even though it sometimes seemed like it was a huge family reunion with just his cousins. But he enjoyed Carew of Magical Creatures and Defense against the Dark Arts over all of his other subject, and his father told him he was like his uncle Charlie. His dream? To go chasing after dragons...and that sounded pretty good to Hugo as well. But he'd have to survive another three years before he could do that.
