Overall History: Viktor grew up in Bulgaria, and attended the Durmstrang Institute.[3] He was one of the last people to obtain a wand, made by the noted wand-maker Gregorovitch (who was later killed by Lord Voldemort). During his time at the school, he was confronted by what he believed to be the symbol of Gellert Grindelwald, which was indeed the symbol of the Deathly Hallows, that had been carved into the walls by the wizard himself. Other students at the school began copying the symbol onto their books and clothing as a way of trying to shock and impress. Highly insulted, since his grandfather had been killed by Grindelwald, Viktor and several other students who had also lost family at the hands of the Dark Wizard taught them the error of their ways.

When Viktor was sixteen, he was recruited for the Bulgarian National team, despite still being in school. When he was seventeen he helped bring his team to the Finals against the Irish. Despite catching the snitch, his team lost. While he was upset at first, everything was made better when he returned to school and was able to try for the Triwizard. He was selected as the Champion for his school and did fairly well in the competition. There he met his first love, Hermione Granger. Despite all of his best efforts, the two were not able to become serious. Her now husband Ronald Weasley got in the way of things.

Viktor graduated from Durmstrang and went on to play professional quidditch full time. When he was twenty five, he met his current wife Belladonna. Viktor fell deeply in love with Bella and was able to make his relationship work while traveling with his team. The two were married five years later and Bella was soon pregnant with their first child. Their son Stefan. The next year, the couple was blessed with their final child Katya. Viktor still plays for the Bulgarian team and is starting to consider retirement. He's spending more time in England hoping to become the new coach of the Falmouth Falcons. While he'll always love Bulgaria, he knows that it's hard on his children to constantly go between the countries.
