Overall Personality: The girl is, in many ways, a stereotypical Gryffindor. Passion is a brave, friendly girl and her heart is (usually) in the right place. She tries to live as she has been taught - do unto others and you would have them do unto you, respect, and all that. But she tends to speak without thinking every now and again, leading her to say the wrong thing and accidentally upset others. The worse part is, her wit can be iting and painful, but ill-aimed thanks to her impulsive. She's lost quite a few friends this way, and sincerely regrets opening her mouth on all of those occasions. At least she's honest... Sometimes a little too honest, even to the point of being blunt and coming off as critical.
She is a humorous one, though. Those that get to know her definitely see her as funny in her own unique way, but at the same time she is often seen as being "weird" or "freaky," with her exceptionally odd comments and her freely spontaneous nature. Everything is conversation material for her, and sometimes she doesn't know what's off limits and what's safe to talk about with certain people. Some people are offended by her satirical take on life and its controversial matters, but she won't hold back her opinions for anyone. She's very open with her allegiances and thoughts, certainly a liberal girl capable of the rare ability to present her arguments in a supported and convincing way. It's very strange, considering her usually emotion-driven lifestyle, but emotions are definitely the driving force behind her.
She's a talented young actress and singer, and that's where her passion lies. She longs to be an actress one day, or maybe even a singer, and her ambition is the focus of many of her thoughts. The other focuses include romance. She'd never admit it, but she longs for a boy (or even girl) to sweep her off her feet, and fantasizes about a whirlwind-of-fire love to call her own. In the long run, however, she's cynical about love and life itself. Everyone dies, no matter how they lived and who loved them. And love eventually dies, after all. Despite that, she's quite friendly and happy in life, and for all the longing she does, she's more than capable - nay, gifted - at supporting herself and working by herself. When she does need help, though, she's far too stubborn to ask for it. Bull-headed is one word for the prevailing inability to change her mind, even if she's dead wrong. This has led to a dislike and mistrust of pretty every "popular" person worldwide, believing them to be vain, cruel, selfish, ect. She prefers to remain among the outcasts and rebels of society.

Father: Jordan Varda, half-blood
Mother: Sarah Lynn Greyer, Muggle
Siblings:
Others: Amanda Varda, half-blood; aunt and current legal guardian
Birth Place: Winchester, England
Current Residence: Hogsmeade Village
Overall History:
Passion was the result of a very short-lived relationship between the erratic Muggle Sarah Lynn Vardan and Jordan Ashley, a half-blood wizard. It wasn't particularly serious and the two weren't very committed to their relationship. It was hard for both of them to think of settling down - Sarah had never been a good child, having run away from home twice before age sixteen before finally being thrown out. She loved to argue almost as much as she loved to change her mind, and honestly, Jordan Ashley was exactly the type a delinquent like herself was expected to be with. He kept his magical gift a secret, and besides, he never trusted anyone enough to tell them anyways. He drifted from town to town on his father's money, and Sarah Lynn was just a plaything of his. When he left, he left no means of contact and no information. He simply announced he was moving on, and he kept to his word. He had no idea that he would leave behind a legacy, of sorts.
Nine months of failed attempts to contact Jordan come to a head with the birth of a baby girl, dubbed Passion. Sarah tried to be a good mother, and for a long while she was. Sure, strange occurrences surrounded her baby girl, but she loved the kid. Not much of note happened for the first seven or so years. At that point, though, it became a little clear that Pas was "special." She made flowers dying in their vases come back to life, and she was unable to explain it. Once, in a store, she inexplicably sent a series of Get Well cards flying during a temper tantrum. That was the point where Sarah's motherly love faltered. She, being a simple Muggle, had no idea what to do or what to think, and she feared what she didn't understand. But things didn't escalate until the letter came, and things were explained to the two.
A witch? Impossible! But it made sense. With help, Passion gathered her school supplies - but her mother wanted nothing to do with the process. In fact, she couldn't bear to hear talk of the school or magic, and it was a wonder Passion was even permitted to go. Sarah wanted her "different child" out of her hair, observant Passion suspected, and she soon overheard a conversation that said as much. Hurt and angry, she left her mother at the train station and found platform 91/3 herself (after a little while.) School was fun for little Passion, who actually proved to be fairly good at several things. When she returned home, it was with sadness, and she lapsed into isolation. Her mother didn't like her going out, for fear it would be discovered that Passion was different from other little girls. Pas, of course, wanted to go out and play. She grew to hate her mother's deaf ears and unyielding "I said no, and that's final!" The fighting began.
Yells and arguments that would keep the neighbors up some nights. Names were thrown around, and the two personalities clashed mercilessly. Passion found hope in the idea that one day, she might be famous, embracing her differences and rubbing her full potential in her mother's face. The fighting grew worse and worse as the years passed, until one day Amanda Varda tracked the two down. She had managed to find her niece and the woman her brother had "loved," and soon found out their situation. At the age of fifteen, Passion went to live with her aunt, in Hogsmeade thankfully. The two have never really connected or spoke of much, but Passion is grateful for the escape from her mother. The two exist in different realms almost, rarely exchanging more than a "How was school?" "Fine. How was work?" "Fine." Once Passion was in a stable environment with fewer worries, her once average school performance began to actually reflect her skills. She had to repeat her third year due to poor performance before, but her fifth year brought outstanding performances in Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Frog Choir. Her vocal talent became fairly well-known, and she began to dye her hair in strips of pinks and greens. That also reflects her current position of freedom. She plans to continue her schooling all seven (in actuality, eight) years, because she loves using magic and wants to have a good backup plan in case fame doesn't work out.
