Overall History: Artemis was born to Charlie and Delilah Weasley 5 years(?) after the birth of her brother. Two years later, her mother had another boy child, leaving Artemis the only girl.

Being both the middle child and the only female sibling made life difficult for the girl. She toughened up quickly, learned how to defend herself against what others might toss at her, however she longed for a sister.

She had many female cousins who she bonded with during their family get-togethers, however, none really satisfied that urge, none filled that gap she had. And then she went to Hogwarts.

Things perked up for the girl. She made many new, female friends who filled the void she had had for so many years. She rarely felt lonely or left out, as she had a few times when her dad and her brothers where off doing 'man things'.
