Overall Personality: James is a little full of himself, he is good looking and knows it. He is also the son of the Savior, so James is pretty much a celebrity in his own mind. He loves the attention that his father's fame brings to him and often uses to get girls and such. James almost never thinks before he speaks which can get him into a lot of trouble and just as the two men he is named after James is often in dentition for braking the rules. He is often seen as a jokester like his uncles Fred and George were in school (Not as much as them though).

James does have a softer side which he shows to his sister Lily and his cousins... although he doesn't really show it to his brother Albus. Albus and James just clash, yes they love each other but Albus just gets under Jame's skin and is often the victim of Jame's bullying.

Overall History:
James is the first born to the famed Harry Potter and Ginny Potter, the media had been very interested in the birth of their first child. Everyone wanted to know about the little Potter if he would be like Harry or if he would look like Ginny. When he was born of course he made it to the front page of the papers but Harry and Ginny wanted him to live a relatively normal life and not so much of the 'Son of the Savior'. James doesn't remember being the only child because it wasn't long before his little brother was born, and than a little sister. They were all close in age that James never could remember a time without either of them.

Growing up James often picked on his little brother Albus, for some reason Albus just knew how to push all James' bottons... not to mention James thought Albus could be kind of weird sometimes. James' relation ship with Lily was different, he immediately formed a protective relationship with her.

When James turned eleven he got his letter to Hogwarts and couldn't be more excited, he was nervous at first... he wanted to be in Gryffindor. His fears were never realized as he was placed in Gryffindor like all his family before him. James quickly made friends and became popular at school not just because he was Harry Potter's son but because of his personality.
