Lauralee is a tomboy at heart. She dresses girly enough, in skirts and dresses, and pulls of sexy and kittenish with great ease, but she's happiest when she's duelling with people she's fell out with, or trying to knock people's heads off with a Bludger on the Quidditch pitch. She's very fiesty, and will say everything that she thinks, because she doesn't care about the consequences. She cared too much before attending Hogwarts, and was bullied horribly for it, so now she just doesn't give a flying hoot about anybody but herself and her friends.

She's very loyal to her friends, and would literally kill for them, and has come close a few times. She has a fierce temper on her, and can get riled up in the blink of an eye, and is physically violent with it quite a bit of the time. She will jump up and punch someone in the face, rather than verbally fight it out with them, since she can't seem to control her anger if someone upsets her, or picks on her friends. Again, this stems from her childhood, and is a defence mechanism to keep people from picking on her before they even get a chance to start. She hates to see the people she cares about hurting, because she feels deeply to the point where it can get a bit overwhelming at times.

Lauralee is a gossip. She loves to learn things about people, and won't hesitate to spread things about that reach her on the grapevine. She can be a bit of a bitch, and too harsh at times when it comes to repeating things she has heard or found out, and she has one of the most acidic tongues you will come across. She's no stranger to making rumours up herself, to get revenge on people who have upset her. She's very competitive and likes to be the best at things, including her studies, but she does better in lessons that are more physical, so she can burn some of that fire off and have constant activities to keep her from getting distracted or chatting to her friends instead. She's very clever, and a lot of fun. Lauralee can be quite dramatic, and her facial expressions are included in that, as she can say everything she is feeling, just with a look, and they are often comical and over the top. She likes to have attention on her, so she's not shy if people are staring because of her dramatics. She is always up for a giggle and some fun and mischief, and makes an excellent leader amongst her friends, who usually adore her for her strength and exhubrance.

James Sr and Leeah Jamieson already had a two year old son, James Jr, when their second child was born. Living in Manchester, they raised Lauralee in a Muggle village, and had their hands full from the word go. She was wilful and stroppy as a baby, and would throw tantrums at the drop of a hat, leaving her parents quite exhausted. As soon as she could walk, she was running around after her brother, and causing mischief around the house. The family were Purebloods, so it was inevitable that she would start to show magical ability sooner or later, like her brother had. Given her wild nature, they decided it might be safer to raise Lauralee in a wizarding village, and so mover the family not too far away, to Chester.

Lauralee was a happy child, and was full of confidence and curiosity, demanding to know what this was, and what that was, and telling strangers in the street her family's private business, without really knowing she was doing any wrong. his was the first sign of her gossiping nature. She was always into her food, and her parents let her have it, since the tantrums she would throw if they denied her were just not worth provoking, and Lauralee soon began to put on weight. It soon came about, once her chubby cheeks and chunky legs set in, that the kids in the neighbourhood started to tease her. They would call her Chunk, and Fatty, and Miss Blobby, and Lauralee would lash out in anger, often running home in tears.

Her brother was the one to help her through the trauma, telling her that once she got to Hogwarts, she wouldn't be able to run home to her family at the end of a bad day. And so at the age of ten, she got into Quidditch, and asked James Jr to help her learn to fly. They would practice all summer, and Lauralee, though she would still eat whatever she wanted, began to lose weight and put on muscle instead, thanks to running about and being worked into hyper states by her sister. She also learned that fighting back was the only way to shut people up, and her anger issues turned physical with the local kids. She would end up kicking or punching them, and getting into cat fights with the girls.

When she received her Hogwarts letter, Lauralee was a little bit worried. She wanted to be seen as someone people shouldn't ever think about picking on, and so she decided the clean slate would be good for her, and reinvented herself as this fierce bitchy girl. She was sorted into Slytherin, and did make friends, those who could see through her fieriness to the fiercely loving and determined, sunny girl underneath the drama. She even made the Slytherin Quidditch team in her fourth year, and managed to hold on to it, using it as a way to keep fit and gain a bit more status around the school. She is now in her fifth year, and working hard to stay in control and be on top.
