Ashton is a decent man. At first glance most people are intimidated by his stature and muscular physique, but if you take a chance by talking to him you will see that he is a pretty chill guy. He tends to come off cool and collect, and at times confident…but that is mostly for the ladies if he is trying to pick them up. Ash isn’t one for the whole ‘one night stand’ thing but there have been a few in his past. He was young and the women weren’t what he was expecting the next morning. He tends to blame it all on the alcohol. It messes with your judgment and all logic goes down the toilet.
Ash can be a bit impulsive at times. Most of the time its his adrenalin getting the better of him and he acts first before thinking things through. It tends to get him in trouble at work seeing as if he is not careful…he’ll get himself killed. Due to the amount of times he has gotten yelled at by his bosses because of his impulsiveness, he is trying to over come it. It is turning out harder than he thought.
When Ash finds himself in a mood and is forced to talk about it, he tend to get blunt and harsh. It’s a defense mechanism that he has had since he left the Marines. Part of it is still impulsion, he tend to run his mouth before thinking. And most of the time he’ll end up hurting people’s feelings.
But he is not heartless, he feel guilty afterward and apologizes. Depending on the argument, he might wait a few days to do so; giving time for both of them to calm down.

Ashton childhood was a fair one. He grew up in a small family. He has a mother and father who were loving and supportive. He was an only child of the Hawksley clan and it didn’t bother him. He had plenty of friends at school to keep him company and he didn’t like the idea of sharing his things with a sibling. Unfortunately he thinks that his childhood went by too fast for his liking.
He led a normal life until he was about ten years old. His parents were magical folks who came from long lines of Wizards and Witches, but they though it would be good for Ashton to grow up like a normal child for a while before he had to become a wizard in training. So since he was born his parents stopped using magic and did everything just like muggles.
It was a hard transition for his parents and it took a long while for them to get the basics, but they had the support of their family to help them. And none spoke a word to Ash about magic or Hogwarts until his tenth birthday. His parents knew that the letter would be coming soon and thought that it was then or never to tell him. At first he was a little caught off guard at the announcement; and he thought that his parents might have lost their minds, but then they show him some of the things they could do with magic and he almost fainted.
Soon after he was at Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor just like both of his parents. The magic thing was still new to him but he picked it up rather fast. Must be in his blood. He made new friends and it made his years fly by and soon he was graduating. He remember the day well and his whole family attended to watch him. Shortly after he left Hogwarts he made the brave decision to go into the Marines. He was going back into the muggle world and it didn’t bother him. He wanted to feel useful and wanted to protect people. He spent the next four years training and moving all around the world, fulfilling his duties as an officer.
When his father started to get sick out of the blue, he finished his term and left the Marines to be with his family. He hurried home and had enough time to say goodbye to his father before he passed that night in his sleep. His mother took his death hard so he stuck around to help her out until she got back on her feet. Due to the lost of his father, he didn’t move far from his mother. He wanted to be able to take care of her and keep her close. He managed to get a job for the ministry as a Auror and loves it. He is able to do the same thing he was doing in the Marines except he can use magic instead of guns.
Shortly after starting at the ministry he started to notice a young lady that worked that. He noticed her from afar for a while until he got the nerve to ask her out to dinner. They went on a few dates, had a few laughs but then he got orders from the Ministry to track a mad wizard. He had spent the next year traveling the world trying to find the guy and managed to track him down in the United States. Now he is back and wonders what has happened since he has been gone.
