SOMETIMES I FIND IT HARD

JUST AS MESSED UP AS ME
Having Seb at home was probably one of the best things ever. His belongings were officially moved into their apartment, she was starting at Hell on Heels and Seb was starting with the Falmouth Falcons. She turned over in their bed, trying to replace the warmth from Seb with her blankets. He slipped out hours ago to dive into quidditch practices and she was supposed to meet with Noelle to go shopping. Niqui’s eyes snapped open when her stomach settled and her dinner from last night decided to revolt against her.
Niqui ran from her bed and barely made it to the bathroom before she started throwing up into the toilet. She knelt down and held onto the bowl, trying to get all of the gross stuff out of her stomach, though the smell of the vomit was making it even worse. She leaned back against the wall and tried to get her stomach to settle down enough to stand up. As much as she was looking forward to having a child with Seb, she wasn’t looking forward to seven more months of throwing up all the time. Niqui ran her fingers through her long blonde hair and carefully stood up, flushing the toilet to make that smell go away.
She brushed her teeth, showered, and dressed to meet Noelle in a relatively short amount of time, considering she had overslept in the first place. Dominique took out her cellphone and quickly texted Noelle,
Ready in ten minutes?
Spending time with her sister-in-law was always so much fun, and now that she was pregnant with Noelle’s future niece or nephew, it was even better spending time with the girl. Apparently Niqui and Seb were going to have a little girl, appropriately called a VeelaWolf. Niqui laughed, thinking about Noelle’s reaction to the baby, and apparated to the Rousseau home in France. It felt weird not telling the rest of Seb’s family about the baby, but her own parents didn’t know. They were going to surprise the whole family at the wedding.
Niqui walked into the kitchen and smiled at her mother-in-law,
“Bonjour Mama Odette.” Dominique hugged the older woman and sat down at the kitchen table, waiting for Noelle to join them.
