Overall Personality: Benji's personality was very much shaped in the early years of his life. He was taught everything from an early age and could read by the time he was three. His mother had little else to do with her life than care for Benji and look after him, teaching him everything she could but with his lack of socialisation with other children he was a little awkward when he first attended Hogwarts but he's learnt to grow out of that.

Books are a major part of Benji's life, he's a big reader and hasn't found a book he did not enjoy, whether fiction or non-fiction he always took something away from what he read.

Benji mostly enjoys reading things that will help him with school and magic. He's not a very physical sort of person that will exercise (though he dos enjoy swimming though he only learnt to swim since being at Hogwarts) but he likes things to be neat and clean. Order is important to Benji.

Benji is pretty good with a wand. He can get his physical work done perfectly but prefers writing essays or reading assignments. He's much better suited to the accedmic side of life still he has a magical dexterity where he is good at multiple subjects though he never took care of magical creatures because he hates the messes they make.

Overall History: It had been 26 years since the end of the war that saw the defeat of The Dark Lord. Darius Max had devoted his life to the Death Eaters and their work. At the time of the siege on the castle, Hilam was there, siding with the death eaters. Nikola, his neutral wife, was at Saint Mungo's, miscarrying what was to be their first child.

At the battle of Hogwarts, Darius was unmasked and revealed a death eater. He struck down those that saw him and ran as soon as there was no hope of the death eaters winning. Only he didn't kill or erase any memories, in his panic he just knocked them unconscious with the weaknesses of his spell and fled.

When Darius' victims woke up, they all swore the same thing and from then on, Darius Hoxley was a wanted man. He ran for years, visiting his wife, whose name was cleared, only once in a while. Through these short meetings they conceived a child at the beginning of the new year 2006.

In early September Benjamin was born a couple of weeks ahead of schedule. Life was good. It was just him and his mother for most of his life. He saw his father probably three times a year and it was the most fantastic times of his life.

On Benji's fifth birthday, Darius was captured in front of Benji's very eyes. Auror after Auror surrounded his father and took him away. He was found guilty but his mother claimed she had no idea he would show and as such was eventually found innocent of aiding and abetting a criminal.

Benji can remember crying himself to sleep over so many nights. Months probably if not years. He loved his father greatly, was always spoilt and glad to see him. Everything his father did for him, Benji remembered.

Of course Benji also loved his mother greatly. She'd taught him to read by the age of three and write before his fourth birthday. They rarely went outside of the home unless it was to Diagon alley or the local libraries. They both loved to read.

Benji received his letter to Hogwarts at the age of eleven, going on twelve as his birthday was in september. He would be one of the eldest in his year. He was sorted to Ravenclaw in a split instant and he has found the Ravenclaw the perfect home away from home.

Benji is in his seventh year. He's a mellow guy with a steady head on his shoulders and has always been known as reliable and willing to help nearly anyone academically speaking. He's a little bit of a know it all at times which can rev up the bullies and make him a target but he takes little notice of that and just gets on with his studies and prefect duties.

Benji, since the end of his last year, has been dating Crystal Longbottom. He asked her on a picnic lunch date and since then Benji's been happier than he ever realised possible. They've been together for nearly a year and he knows that he loves her. He has an engagement ring picked out but he's saving all his money for it. He wants to propose to her and for it to be a huge surprise. She's brought so much light to his life that he feels if he ever lost her he would only ever be surrounded by darkness.
