Hair Shade: Brown
Hair Style: Long and often just brushed and thrown over her shoulders.
Eye Color: Brown
Build: 5’4’’, slight.
Dressing Style: Ariadne is perhaps very unique in the way she dresses. She likes market buys and bold fabrics that make her stand out. People tend to think she’s just a bit thrown together, but everything makes sense the more you look.

Likes:
• Chocolate. Her all time guilty pleasure
• Her own space…for all she’s worth, she really does like her peace when she can get it.
• Meeting new people. She’s never going to get anywhere without that.
• Taking new risks, because what’s life without a few risks.
• Quidditch…perhaps surprisingly, she rather likes watching it.
Dislikes:
• Being smothered…even if she sometimes does it to others.
• Potions, after that time last year that she almost blew herself up.
• Traditionalists…it’s no fun if you just stick to what you know!
• Cooking…just like with Potions, things tend to explode.
• Ancient Runes…don’t get her started…just don’t.
Strengths:
• Logical
• Creative
• Clever
• Bold
• Ambitious
Weaknesses:
• Naive
• Childish
• Immature
• Stubborn
• Emotional
Overall Personality: Ariadne is a very artistic person, without a doubt. She is very confident, perhaps too much so, and loves integrating with all sorts of people to the point that she will actively go out and seek new people to meet. As such, she is always one to introduce herself first even if she is a little too forward sometimes. She is ambitious and wild, and certainly a riot to be around. She’ll be your friend any day of the week, for certain. She has this boundless energy that never seems to sway, and that certain spunk that can either be so interesting, or so offputting. Either way, she is one of those people who is certainly not afraid to stick up for what she wants, and she will certainly stick up for it. She is passionate above all. From a very young age, she has known exactly what she wants from life and is already thinking of what she will do when she graduates Hogwarts.
Perhaps she could thank her father for that, who pushed her, as the only child to really make a name for herself. She has said often, that in the future, she wants to be a fashion designer, and travel to New York to live out the rest of her life, though she still has a way to go yet. Because of this stricter view on the part of her parents, Ariadne has a good head on her shoulders. On the academic side, she is focused, driven, unafraid to ask questions, and when it comes to life in general, she is a forward person in everything she does. On the other hand, she does have a tendency to make this world for herself, where she can lock herself away in her room for days and work on a project that she will get to the point of obsessing over. It can put some people off really, though it’s not often she pays any mind to it. That’s just her problem really, she can’t seem to sit still and is always doing something to occupy herself, whatever it may be.

Father: Leander Montague
Mother: Fern Montague
Siblings: None
Others: N/A
Birth Place: Dublin, Northern Ireland
Current Residence: Dublin, Northern Ireland
Overall History: Ariadne Montague came into this world kicking and screaming in the front room on the first floor of a little cottage by the sea, just outside Dublin, Northern Ireland. Personal choice, of course. Because Ariadne’s mother had always been opposed to anything that wasn’t natural and had refused to give birth in St. Mungos. Instead, she had asked a healer to come to the house to help her. For four days after, Ariadne was without a name as her parents toiled over what to call their little girl. In the end, they decided to name her Ariadne after the legend of the Minotaur, one of Leander’s favourite stories as a child.
Now a few days old, the newly named Ariadne lived with her parents in the little cottage by the sea. She was raised to be a very open and independent person who was comfortable with getting to know a wide range of people. And it can be said that she became very like her parents as she grew because she was around them so much. Most that met her would say that she was the spit of her mother right down to the long brown hair that became so unruly as she grew up. She was one of those children that used to get the hairbrush stuck, because it was that bad, but she was just like her mother in that regard.
When she was eleven, she finally got her letter to Hogwarts and had entirely the opposite reaction than was expected by her parents. When she opened the envelope and read the words, Ariadne screamed bloody murder. She refused to even go to Diagon Alley to get her things initially, not wanting to leave her family in Dublin for some “horrible stone castle up north”…her words, of course. It took her parents almost three months to persuade her to actually go to get things for school and even then, it took right up until the day of the train to get her sitting down without wanting to go home again. When she got there though, she was sorted into Ravenclaw and things changed considerable. That is…she suddenly found herself realising why her parents had loved it so much.
She thrived at school, even if her flighty nature got her into a reasonable amount of trouble. True, she often longed for the holidays when the end of term came around, but she settled in more than wonderfully. Even the few hiccups she had along the way weren’t even worth mentioning because every little girl has them when they move away from home for the first time. Now, she is in her sixth year at Hogwarts, already planning for the future and fingers crossed, she plans to make the most of it.
