Overall Personality:
"Now, I may be a Slytherin, but I am devoutly loyal to my friends and family. If they are in danger, and there is a feasible way for me to help, you can count on it, and you can count on me being there for them, and sticking by their side. The good thing about that, is I'm also logical and intelligent too. I like to think things through, and come up with cunning, yet rational solutions. This could lead to me being cocky, but I'm not, I'm simply confident in myself and others. I tend to be generally good natured, providing you've not hurt my friends or family, and am therefore trustworthy. If you ask me not to tell someone something, I won't. Despite others being able to trust me, I can be a bit misanthropic at times, and secretive as well. I don't trust others easily all the time, and I don't spill my guts to anyone who will listen. It sometimes makes people upset, but I'm afraid to be too open. I'm a little overprotective which can be really annoying. My friends and family, while grateful I care, could probably enjoy it if I took the protectiveness down a peg or five.
"Honestly, I've an irrational fear of bright yellow butterflies. If I could explain it to you, it wouldn't be irrational, but that's neither here nor there, really. I want to be a father, and a writer, and for this inane debacle with the creatures to be over. I want the bloodshed to cease, just like my father did when he was young, and held the world on his shoulders, so to speak. I'm thankful that I don't have the same weight, but I have a similar dream, none-the-less. More than anything, though...I would like to be seen for who I am, and not who my father was. I am not the perfect middle child of Harry James Potter, Savior of the Wizarding World, Boy Who Lived, etc...I'm Albus Severus Potter, and I'm not perfect. If I were perfect, I would be a hero, now wouldn't I? I wouldn't be this neutral figure who gets constantly irritated with his brother, and quite frankly, doesn't care if you're male or female, as long as you're intelligent and kind. I would be my dad, if I was perfect. Alright, I'm kidding about that last bit, I guess. I'm one of those people that makes you think you know what to expect, but I turn around and surprise you. This...isn't always a good thing, of course. Sometimes, the things people don't know, or think they know are so wrong, that I wonder about it myself, but there's not much I can do, you know...except hope that it all works out in the end, for the good. I'm a bit of a realist, too. I can be optimistic, and pessimistic, and sometimes a bit of both all at once, which confuses people, but I really just look at the situation, and try and pick which way benefits best.
"Now, of course, that isn't everything about me. Merlin no. See, I wouldn't be a part of the Execution Squad if it was. I'd be too much of a pansy. Hell, sometimes, I'm pretty sure they think I am, but here's the thing - I don't like to be controlled, and I don't want to control you, just stay out of my goddamned way, and we'll all be just fine."

Father: Harry Potter
Mother: Ginevra "Ginny" Potter nee. Weasley
Siblings: James and Lily
Others: Dear god, too many
Birth Place: Mungos
Current Residence: Godric's Hollow
Overall History:
"I was born, sixteen years ago (seventeen if it's after October) on October thirteenth to Harry James Potter, and Genevra Weasley Potter. No, I don't know my mother's middle name. Now, many people would think I was lucky, being born to the savior of the wizarding world, but I don't generally think about that. Honestly, there are days when I really wish I was in another family, but I love my parents dearly. I used to be jealous of my dad, because he could talk to snakes. I remember when I was little, I hid a little garden snake in a shoe box in my room, tried so hard to talk to it, but it didn't actually work. Then, he escaped and scared mom nearly to death. Was not a pretty picture, let me tell you. Of course, it would be at that moment that I actually managed to talk to the damn thing. Neither of my parents were overly impressed by my antics, but when were they ever?
I suppose the hardest part of living life in the Potter house was the fact that I was, for years, the "spitting image of my father" which was the last thing I wanted to be, and that doesn't include the vast amount of family. Dad's cousin, Dudley was never super involved, as far as I remember. I've met him a couple times, and he's cool and all, but he's more the type of family member you send a card to on holidays, and not invite to dinner.
"Mom, however...well, there's the fact that she was the only girl in a family full of boys, so I see every single one of my uncles, minus my uncle Fred, who died, and their kids, and my Grandma Molly nearly all the time. I never met my dad's parents, and neither did he, so...there's a lot of people I love that I never met. Really, though, can you imagine growing up? Two siblings was bad enough, but throw in a god-brother, and something like twenty cousins, all of whom are right around your age, and you're wishing for just a little peace and quiet.
I took to sitting with the adults as a child, particularly my Aunt Hermione. This isn't to say I didn't play as a child, but that even at a young age I was curious, and always listening. James, my older brother, and I...we never really have gotten along. There's always this silent: I was here first thing going on, as well as the fact that he's named after our grandfather and dad's godfather, and I'm not named after family. I remember one time...the summer between my second and third years, I finally had enough of James picking on me, and actually lashed out. James is older, and stronger, but I got a couple good punches in edgewise. We both came out a bit bloody, but it was worth it. Honestly, I was closer to Teddy growing up, and he's still more of a brother to me than James ever could be.
"Then again, there are people closer to me than my family ever could be. The summer before the fight, I began sneaking off - usually when Mum took us out to Diagon Alley. I didn't feel the need to be afraid. What was the point in it? I found myself in the Muggle world a lot. It wasn't overly unfamiliar with me, between Aunt 'Mione and Dad, but it wasn't something that happened often, at least not at first, and then I met Josef. He was older than me, though I was never sure quite how much older, but old enough. At first, we just talked, standing in a music store, looking at guitars, but then, one day, he made me an offer. Honestly, I had thought he worked at the store, but come to find out, he was half-stalking me. Really, it was a little creepy, but what was I supposed to say? I was a little flattered that someone was interested in me for reasons other than the fact that I was the son of Harry fucking Potter.
"He bought me my first guitar when I was thirteen. I told him I couldn't take it, but he insisted, and when I said I would pay him back, he said my continued visits were enough.
"I was always the different one in the family. As I said, I was constantly teased by James for my personality, and constantly reminded by dad that I am, in fact, named after a great Slytherin. My first bout of magic was actually getting angry with James while playing, and the toy beat him over the head. I was torn for eleven years, telling myself that I most certainly would not be in Slytherin, though the signs all pointed to it. Honestly, I don't think many people in my family were shocked when it happened, and I'll admit, I was scared. It was almost like being fed to a pack of starving sharks. Granted, it wasn't quite that bad. Most of the anxiety came from worrying about what my family would say. I had the Squad, and they made it easier.
"Anyway, it eventually became evident why I was in Slytherin. I wasn't - and still am not - big on confrontation, and often used my quick wit and logical disposition to work my way out of things, instead of fighting. I ended up gaining a bit of a reputation, and it's definitely not the best one I could have, though I will say, I'm probably the tamest out of the entire squad.
"I'm a bit scattered, and I apologize, but I tend to think that way. Anyway, my little sister, Lily, has always been the light of my world. I wasn't really old enough to comprehend when she was born or anything, but there's a picture of me sitting in my mother's lap, and she's helping me hold Lily as best as possible, in my little arms. My first word was Lily, even. I used to sneak into her room late at night and kiss her forehead, and call her "My Lily." I don't think there's anyone in this world I could ever love more than my Lily-bug, and I will always protect her, even if that means ignoring her to an extent, to protect her from my friends.
"In the summer between my first and second year, Mum and Dad got me a present. A pet. They had to do some talking with the Headmaster, but I have a snake. It's nice to have a pet I can talk to, and Exi certainly takes the cake. He's not venomous. There's something wrong with his glands."
"For the past few years, I've been escaping to Josef for bits and pieces of time, and the stays get longer, and honestly, well....let's just say I'm starting to think that maybe I should give him a little more than my friendship. He's done so much for me, and he's amazing. I'm just not sure what he'd do if I did. Maybe this summer, that's something I can figure out."
