Overall Personality: Fabian's most prominent trait is his curiosity; he is always asking questions, always seeking to learn more. It doesn't seem to matter what it is, he always wants to learn about anything. Fabian has a strong sense of justice and equality and he is a quick learner, becoming literate and an advanced artist in a very short period of time. However, he was often hasty, lightheaded, and impulsive though he improved upon the last two traits. He was also known to lose his temper, and let his frustration get the better of him.

Fabian is stubborn and willful about his personal opinions, even when things looked hopeless and everyone disagrees with him. He refuses to give up his pursuit of girls, even after they reject him several times. He is also determined, steadfast, and strong-willed. Overall History: Fabian Laurent lives alone in an uplottable mansion in Montpellier, France. There's not much to say on his history other than the fact that he lives with his six year old baby brother after his parents were murdered in their home. Yes, he doesn't understand why he and his little brother were left alone. Perhaps by the fact that he kept various amounts of locks on his brother's bedroom door, ones that were charmed to oppose the "Alohamora" spell. However then, why they left Fabian alone was beyond his knowledge. Maybe they knew that he had a knack for dark arts, and was exceptionally good with the curses. His room had a potions table and he had been concocting the Drink of Despair and the Draught of Living Death, as he was good at making potions as well. Maybe they were after his parent's gold, but were unable to get to it as they had left Fabian in charge of protecting it, lacing the vault underneath their home with his own spells and curses, even potions that burned when touched.

However, they had left after the murders. It was nearly a year ago, and Fabian had managed to secure his place at the house and custody of his brother, as he was to turn of age in such little time, it was foolish to turn him to an orphanage. As the Laurent house was invisible to the nonmagic eye, the murders of his parents did not reach muggle ears. He kept to himself for a couple months until he went back to school and tried to pass as if nothing was wrong, although lots of people asked questions. He didn't know anymore than they did. So he just tried to go back to being himself, and got a job working at the local Wizarding newspaper in France, although the Laurent's had enough money to keep Fabian and Felix alive for well past their lifetimes. Still, just wanted life to go back to normal, so he would only work a couple hours a week to spend time with his little brother to keep him company, make breakfast, lunch, and dinner, keep the house clean, do the laundry and such. He often used magic to help him with these daily chores.
