Caine should not ever be this close to one girl, but he was drawn to Ella. She made him look at her more so than he did anyone else, he seemed entranced by those green eyes that gazed back at him with curiosity. Or, more often, anger. He had rejected the girl's further advances in knowing she just wanted physical pleasure. Normally, any boy would be very, very willing to this but Ella should know the dark haired, dark eyed boy by now. He was not classified as normal. But she kept coming back, and he went to her.
And when they kissed, it was electrifying, magnetic, and intense, but real. They were in his flat now, familiar slightly to her, but now they were alone and safe from their surroundings. They didn't have to worry about passerby and being interrupted, no it was just them. Caine had left the lights on, and the room did not seem like it had been searched through for packing. His bags were nowhere to be found and if she guessed correctly, Caine really had no intention of leaving without saying goodbye to her. He waited until the last minute, and it was a good choice because she had asked him to stay…. and he complied.
But why? He rarely did anything she asked of him, but with her words at that moment, something in him made Caine disregard the fact that he should of said no. Now he had taken them here because he wanted to be by himself, but with her. He wanted to know why she sounded like she had, vulnerable and strained. Why had she asked him to stay if he didn't mean anything in her life. His arms were still around her waist, but he had set her down to touch the ground. His cool, hard, dark-eyed stare looked at the girl before him, saying nothing. Just waiting.
