Overall Personality: Youngblood has been part of the wizard world for several years now, but still sometimes has problems understanding some traditions and customs. He is considered highly charming and usually has an easy enough time getting people to do as he asks, but would only use it for the betterment of the magical worlds. He takes his position as Deputy Headmaster very seriously and would do pretty much anything for his students. He is considered a mentor to many students and while it has made him a pariah in his own world, he covets the title.

In his free time, Youngblood is content with his books and his small group of friends. He does prefer the company of men over women, but his lack of interest in centaur men has kept him from ever having a successful relationship. While he finds wizards attractive, they don't usually give the old man with a horse body a second glance. He is content with his books and his friendships.

Overall History: Youngblood was born many years ago in the forest outside of Beauxbatons, he was the youngest in his family, earning the name Youngblood. When he grew up, he was taught to never trust the wizards and to never allow Beauxbatons students to come near their forest. As he grew up, he saw the wizards as less intruding, and more of a curiosity. He would trade safe passage out of the forest for stories about their world. He would travel closer and closer to the border between the two worlds as he could, getting more and more brazen every day.

When he was finally caught on the Beauxbatons grounds by his family, they forced him to pick. When he told them that he wanted to get to know the world outside of the forest, they told him to never return. Youngblood went to the Headmaster and asked for a job, and had been working for the school ever since. At first, he just ran the stables, as much as he deplored the captive setting, he was able to help the students respect the horses without abusing them.

A decade ago, there was an opening in the Ancient Runes department, he asked the headmaster at the time for the position and was able to get the job with no problems. There is the occasional ignorant student, but he has found many ways to punish them. Cleaning out the stables proves to be rather effective. About five years prior, he was asked to become the Deputy Headmaster and is proud to hold the position and do what he can to help Beatrice with her position.
