Overall Personality: There are many different sides to Azalea.

1 - School. She’s an absolute bitch at heart but hides it well. She’s quick with a bitchy come back if needed but usually people are afraid to do anything but compliment her. Unless they just really don’t care in which case they leave her alone and she of core spreads rumours to her closest friends who make sure such vicious lies get spread around the school. Also at school Azalea finds she has to wear a mask to hide her true emotions. It’s no real secret that Dante fools around with other girls but seeing that she and Dante have been together for just over two years, she doesn’t think too much of it. Of course it hurts but she believes that he loves her and that’s why they’re still together, and of course the great sex, the private lap dances and occasional pole dance. All that she learnt in order to keep her man.

2 - Big sister. Azalea is an absolute cow to her slightly younger sister, Layla. She bosses her around, treats her like crap half the time and yet when needed, her sister is there for her, despite Azalea being very single minded and selfish. Still she doesn’t let anyone talk trash about her sister while she’s around on the premiss that she and Layla are the same blood, so if someone bad mouths Layla, they’re bad mouthing her.

3 - Home. Azalea isn’t really much of an angel, ever, yet at home she’s a daddy’s girl. She manipulates situations to get her own way but usually doesn’t find it too necessary. She had a relatively quiet childhood and adolescent years. Her parents are both very understanding, even when Dante visits. Her mother would rather her be safe than sorry after all.

4 - With Dante. When it comes to Dante Azalea has learnt not to smother him. He’s always been a popular boy as far as she could remember and she knows she’s lucky to be dating him. She believes he’s perfect for her but she wishes he would stop cheating. The first few times she confronted him about his ways he denied them and promised she was the only one for him. After she smelt perfume on him he swore it was just from a hug and told her to stop being so paranoid and suspicious all the time, that they’d have to break up if she didn’t trust him. Of course she never asked again but she still doesn’t trust him. Hence the pole and lap dancing classes she took over the summer of her fifth to sixth year and even a course on how to pleasure a guy properly, though she never told anyone about that.

5 - Alone. When she’s alone Azalea likes to listen to jazz and soul music. She does her homework, double checks it and if you didn’t know any better you’d think she was an ideal, average student, but she’s anything but.

Overall History: Azalea grew up in a pretty peaceful home. She was the eldest of two daughters with only a 16 month age gap. Both Maria and George were relatively laid back parents, allowing their daughters freedom to do as they pleased unless it was dangerous or disrespectful. As the girls grew older they both started showing signs of magic. Azalea received her Salem letter and was sorted into Paomet. The following year her sister became a member of Nauset.

All though Azalea was never unpopular, she wasn’t exactly noticeable until dressed up one night for a school winter dance in her fifth year almost exactly two years ago and Dante asked for a dance. Azalea thought he was there with someone else but couldn’t believe her luck and just said yes. They danced, hung out a bit and the next day she started hearing rumours about herself. At this point she was still quite soft and took them to heart. People started saying things like she’d given Dante a BJ and more. She cried for hours. She finally cleaned herself up, changed her clothes and put a light dusting of makeup over her face to cover the redness around her eyes from where she had been crying.

Azalea had no idea what she did right, if Dante wanted to try and prove the rumours true or not, but the two started dating. They’ve been together now for almost two years and Azalea is staring to notice that Dante is starting to really have a thing for Arianna Redwood, his pseudo sister. Azalea thought it was just his casual flirting but Arianna’s rejection of him is starting to prove a bit of a problem from Azalea’s point of view for it seems to her that Dante just wants what he can’t have. She's given him plenty of distance, loved through so many rumours of his cheating an diet it's practically his own sister that he is truly falling for and that is frightening Azalea. Azalea plans on trying to entice Dante back, maybe by chatting with a few guys, laughing and flirting a little and if that doesn’t work then she’s going to be gunning for Ari.

Azalea grew to have quite a large head and a constantly inflating sense of self importance. She started to truly believe that she and Dante were the hottest couple the school had ever seen. She started spending more and more time with Dante and less time on her school work. It was not a wise move. After trying to come onto one of her Professor's, thinking that 'extra credit' meant sex, she kind of went off the rails a little. She sort of told Dante and he split up with her, she had become too much.

Azalea was certain that Ari was something to do with Dante breaking up with her and then Azalea heard the news - Ari was pregnant. Azalea spent so much of her time spreading rumours to people in round about ways. She never directly launched into an Ari hate speech but many people started spreading gossip about Ari. Azalea was pleased and planned on pushing Ari down a flight of stairs but it was too late, her father pulled her out of school. Her grades dropped considerably and she was never the greatest student to start with.

There's been talk of holding her back a year but transferring her to a different school - Hogwarts as she doesn't speak any other languages. She's absolutely furious and fighting this decision as hard as she can but for the first time in her life she is unable to manipulate her father into letting her do as she pleases. She has so far gotten her parents to agree to let her sit her exams to see if she can pass and she's trying her hardest for a change but she knows it won't do any good, she's going to fail and probably be transferred to Hogwarts where she wont be able to cause any more trouble ... or will she?

Most likely not. If anything, she's going to be worse.

Since being told that she has to leave Salem, Azalea's father has moved from the Ministry of Magic to a Private Firm where his expertise are getting him a big fat pay rise. To add to the family funds Azalea's grandparents passed away in a tragic accident where the break lines of their holiday car were cut. Azalea suspects her mother or father of doing something untoward but has not said a word, she's too busy enjoying the inheritance though she only gets her full share if she passes her seventh year!
