Overall Personality: Overall, Gideon is rather silly and quirky. He keeps his classes interesting by being upbeat and exciting. He always seems to have a smile on his face and energy. When he's outside of class, he can usually be seen talking with other professors or tutoring students who need extra help with it all.

There are times when he is very serious, and usually that has to do with Lilith. She is his personal kryptonite and deep down he's convinced that she will be the death of him. That one day he will finally try to keep her as his own and will not be able to have her. Gideon is deeply in love with Lilith, but the stars never seemed to align in their favor. Life got in the way, things happened, and how he is engaged to another woman.

Overall History: Gideon was born on October 15th to a Nigerian ambassador and his French model wife. He was raised with everything that he could possibly need in his life, including doting parents. His mother would take him on her various sets, and even made the transition from runway model to designer in order to have a slightly more stable schedule. Their home was constantly filled with love, and Gideon was fortunate enough to welcome two younger sisters into his life during that time.

As he grew up, he started showing magic. His parents were confused about what was going on with him, and even had a meeting with a professor from Beauxbatons on the matter. They explained to Lee and Gizelle that Gideon was gifted with a magical ability and would be able to attend a school to learn how to use the ability properly. When he was eleven, he was sent to Beauxbatons for seven years. During that time, Gideon made friends, lost friends, fell in love, had his heart broken, but the biggest part of it all was that he fell in love with herbology. There was a lot of natural talent, and pure fascination on the topic and ended up studying it with masters after graduation. When Gideon was in his twenties, he was able to become a Herbology professor at Beauxbatons and teach it in the place of the professor who trained him on the subject.

One of the highlights of his life was a new year eve party where he met Lilith. He could remember thinking that she was impossibly beautiful and tried to get up the nerve to talk to her. She seemed to constantly miss his attention, probably realized that he was just a silly older man who wasn't nearly good enough for her. By the end of the evening, they were in a fevered embrace on a spare bed. The night ended before he could get a way to contact her and he was forced to suffer with knowing that he missed out on the most beautiful woman he's ever seen.

Losing out on her sent him into a horrible depression, so he thought that a change of scenery would be the best for him. Luckily enough, he was able to take a herbology assistant position at Hogwarts and worked closely with Professor Neville Longbottom. On his first day, he realized that Lilith was not only a witch, but a seventh year student. While he tried to stay away from her, it only worked for about thirty seconds of being alone with her. All of that chemistry that he felt with her during New Years came right back and he couldn't get enough of her.

They had kept some distance after she graduated, Gideon just figured that she had grown tired by his childish behavior and went to find someone a bit more serious. Gideon continued to teach and even started to see someone who worked in Hogsmeade. She was stable enough, even if there were times when Gideon had to think about Lilith in order to be intimate with her. Gideon figured that he lost his chance of being with his favorite redhead, so he proposed to his girlfriend. When she said yes, he knew that he regretted doing it.

Gideon returned to the school, happy with his new position as the full herbology professor with Neville becoming the Headmaster and on the first day realized that he wasn't the only one who got a job. Sitting there at the staff table was his personal vice and addiction, Lilith. True to their history, it only took a few seconds of being alone until they were wrapped up in each other. She still doesn't know about his fiancée and he's hoping to keep it from her until he can figure out how to break up with his fiancée.
