Hyun Ki Park

Hyun Ki is a nice boy from a nice family. His father was a wizard that was from a muggle born family. His mother was a baker who owned a trendy little shop in Seoul. Hyun Ki’s father had spent most of his life trying to get back into the muggle life style. He went through school and Hogwarts and was turned off by the focus on being pure blood. Also the magical world was far more dangerous than he could ever feel comfortable with. It just seemed easier to fade back into the life style he was raised with, almost denying the fact that he was a wizard

The man was upfront with his wife that there was a possibility they could have a magical child. Low and behold Hyun Ki came along and did possess the quality’s that his father was trying so hard to deny in himself. He was raised as a normal little boy and would often hang around his mother’s bakery helping out making cupcakes and little snacks here and there. Little things would pop up here and there involving his magic. The whole time Hyun had no idea what was going on. His father refused to acknowledge it, only becoming more frustrated with the maic continuing to show up in his life.

Hyun grew up thinking his father just hated him for some reason. His mother would constantly tell her little boy that it was nothing of the sort it was just work baring down on him Hyun Ki didn’t believe a word of it but appreciated his mother trying.

At fourteen a man showed up at their door saying that the boy, if he family could afford it would be happily accepted to join the students of Mobeab. The cat was out of the bag now. It was a big deal his father didn’t want anything to do with it. Especially with all the rumors he had heard of the pureblood advantage. Where as the family wasn’t poor it wasn’t like they had a name for themselves either.

Hyun was hurt that his father never told him about this whole other side of his family. The magic seemed wonderful and he was chopping at the bit to know what all of it entailed. With a long drawn out family fight he finally made it in with the backing of his mother. She felt her son had a right to choose whatever he wanted for his future.

So there he was at a school surrounded by wonder and magic and it was all his to learn. Hyun was sorted into Gajang. Instantly Hyun devoured the curriculum even taking fairly naturally to the magic. He was naive though. His top grades made the soft spoken shy boy an easy target for the more pushy students. He fell into a bad relationship where he was nothing but used.

Hyun refused to see the bad in it. He was just helping someone he cared about. Eventually someone stood up for him. Another boy. Now Hyun is still naïve but trying more and more to stand up for himself. It only works about half the time. His natural nature is to give people the benefit of the doubt. He want’s to be needed. Also he doesn’t know how to stand up for himself or voice his own needs. The boy socially is stuck between being sucked back into a bad place and failing at grasping onto a relationship he wants. So he tries to just keep to himself and his school work there is a still a lot for the boy to learn sense he is only 17 and in his fourth year.
